What are the research opportunities available at VIPER?

Vishnu Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research has collaborations with specialised research centres like Centre for Molecular Cancer Research, Centre for Cognitive Science and Centre for Nanotechnology. More than 10 completed sponsored research projects and a number of ongoing research projects with funding up to INR 30 LPA are there under the institutes name. Members of the faculty regularly publish research papers.

Do VIPER students get a chance to publish their own research?

Papers by VIPER students and graduates have been published in many reputed journals around the world. International journal of pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Indo American Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Bentham Science publishers, World Journal of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, etc have published research papers written by VIPER students.

What is the difference between B.Pharm and B.Pharm Lateral Entry at VIPER?

Generally, the B. Pharmacy course is a four year degree. But the candidates who have done their Diploma in Pharmacy can get direct enrollment in the second year of the B.Pharm course at VIPER.

Does VIPER have a Career Guidance Cell?

Yes, it does. The Career Guidance Cell at VIPER provides assistance and advice to students to make them aware about their future career. Through the Career Guidance Cell, the institute also arranges coaching for GPAT. The cell has different clubs like Research and Development club, Higher studies club etc for the students to nurture their interests and excel professionally.

More students are placed in various companies students are eligible for placements during 4-1 and 4-2 semesters. Students visit industries for industrial training during the 3rd year. About 70 percent of students are placed in various companies remaining 30 percent of students opt for higher education. The students are placed in various companies such as Dr. Reddy's etc.

Good placements in our college. A lot of companies are Visited our college for placements like Aurobindo, Dr Reddy's, Gland pharma, etc The yearly package is from 4 Lakhs per annum. For a student at least 80% to get good placements in companies. I self to become a drug inspector.
