- XAT 2025 Registration is open at xatonline.in for admission to MBA/ PGDM courses. The last date to register for XAT 2025 is November 30, 2024. The application edit facility is also open for all registered candidates till November 19, whereas the exam is scheduled to be conducted on January 5, 2025.
Institute of Business Management & Research in Bangalore, Karnataka is a private institution established in 1999. IBMR offers two years full-time MBA program affiliated to two universities.
MBA course affiliated with Bharathiar University is offered in fourteen specializations, whereas the other MBA course is affiliated to the University of Mysore. The institute also offers MBA (Executive) program, it is a two years program specifically designed for working professionals. IBMR also offers one-year diploma program in Entrepreneurship and Business Management.
- Application forms for MBA and MBA (Executive) can be filled online or can be downloaded from IBMR Bangalore website.
- Candidates applying for MBA (Full time) program must have done graduation with at least 50% marks.
- Candidate must qualify MAT/ CAT/ XAT/ PGCET/ GMAT/ IBMR entrance test, etc. for admission to MBA program.

- For MBA (Executive) program, candidate must pass a Bachelor’s degree and must have work experience after graduation.

- Candidates having Degree/ Diploma in any discipline are eligible for admission to Diploma program in Entrepreneurship and Business Management.
- Admission to Diploma is done directly on the basis of marks obtained in last qualifying examination.

Institute of Business Management & Research offers two years full-time MBA Program affiliated with two universities – Bharathiar University and the University of Mysore.
For MBA course, applicants must have Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
Candidates willing to pursue MBA course affiliated with the University of Mysore must have valid score in any of the MAT/ CAT/ XAT/ Karnataka PGCET/ ATMA entrance exams. Similarly, candidates willing to pursue the course affiliated with Bharathiar University need to successfully pass in any of YMAT /MAT/ CAT/XAT/NAT/ATMA entrance exams. Candidates shortlisted on the basis of entrance score are called for the interview.
Final selection of a candidate is based on several parameters: Academic Performance, Entrance Score, Interview Performance, Work Experience (if any), and Interest in the course and extra Co-curricular achievements.

Institute of Business Management & Research offers diploma course in Entrepreneurship and Business Management. The program is recognized by Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDI). The course begins in the month of January, April, July and October.
Candidates having Degree/ Diploma in any discipline and those who are in the final year of their degree, are eligible to join the course. Selection is done based on direct admission.

MBA (Full time):
Candidates seeking admission to MBA (Full time) course can either apply online or can download the application form from the college website. To apply online, candidates need to follow below steps:
- Go to the official website of the college.
- On the home page, click on Admissions tab and then click on Apply online.
- Fill the details and academic records and submit the application form.
- Candidates who have downloaded the application form must send the filled in application form along with necessary documents to IBMR, Bangalore.
MBA (Executive):
Candidates applying for MBA (Executive) Program need to:
- Download the application form & Program brochure from the official website or obtain a copy of the application from the College office.
- Submit a completed application form along with photocopies of all academic and professional documents.
- Short-listed applicants will be called for personal interview and the successful candidates will be notified of the admission decision through regular mail/email.
Candidates need to enclose following documents along with the application form:
- Photocopies of all academic documents i.e. Mark sheets of SSC, HSC and Graduation.

After that, I appeared for the interview round and Group discussion, which was pretty easy for me as I was practising for the interview round and giving mock interviews.

Along with that they take an online exam which you can give as they provide the link and time bound after you clear that you are set up for a telephonic interview for which a time slot is given to you and the interview is taken. In accordance with your interview, how you perform concession on fees is given to you. Then the brochure and certificate is posted to your address.

I gave my KMAT exam and applied. Gave an exam given by college .. online test. After clearing that a telephonic interview was conducted in which a prior time slot was given. On the basis of that youay get a scholarship which will be deducted from your fees. And then admission letter was sent to me.

I directly came to clg through information I collected from Shiksha.com, College asked me to go through a Telephonic interview conducted by college itself and scheduled as per my time convenience and I got selected through that and later I received joining letter along with scholarship from college based on my interview performance
