In my college placement apportunity are started after 2 year in sem 6 you will get apportunity to get job. I give interview for front end web developer job in bhart steel and got rejected. In my college students get apportunity get placement students give ther interview and get pass if they are skill. If I talk about percentages of student get job is 10%. On a recent bases i didn't got any offer on placement's, place are held on college,the company from - l&t, hindustan Unilever, Tata , and so all , they check tour apptive skills and your over all projects knowledge and your over all projects scored in last 2 years, placement are started on the end of final year

The package of fees and the placements for students is worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements are good if you're eligible..but for your particular course you'll have to find for yourself if you didn't get any placement from college..you're offered placements in the last year i guess for your degree..but you can earn good even if you've passed 12th because there is a bpo right inside the college..my plans would be to pursue a master's degree ahead..haven't thought about joining any particular company yet

Placements are dull and not a lot of company visit here. There is no proper placement and recruiting officer present so don't expect a good placement from VIVA. Only 2 3 companies come here regarding placements and that too is invited by students and faculty members. One of the companies which visited VIVA was a Japan-based software firm. There is no Wipro no TCS. If you want to get into those then you have to go for off-campus hiring and placements. Most of my batchmates were placed in off-campus placements only (around 80%) and the rest are doing their masters. You have to have a decent percentage to sit for a placement aptitude exam. The percentage usually varies from 55% to 65% so it's better if you score high if you want a job in this field. I went for my master's instead of settling in a low-paying job.
