Best option in the state

Likes

The college environment is so pleasant and proper.
The ground here is the biggest in the whole state. CCC. CNN Bb. CC. By no.
Faculty is so supportive and the Principal here gives you freedom to do the things you love. Bb. By CC BB.

Dislikes

There is no much thing that I disliked here..as of now.. be v ci ci Cc. C
Boys hostel facilities like warm water..clothes washing is a difficult one. Bb CC CV by. BB. Bb v. Va be.
Have fun in the college..do not leave your days which are once gone..you can’t have them back.

Internships Opportunities:

Here in the college like government type the state gives internship opportunities is always present and gives about great money and hospital working here is so well as it is one of the biggest hospitals in the country and different type of people with different diseases come to this hospital for the treatment..

Life at Kakatiya Medical College

Likes

College infrastructure as a new building has been built for classes and good accomodation for 250 students.
Campus Life is great, every 2-3 months there'll be a fest to enlightenment the mood and to take a break from studies.
Faculty is well versed in subjects, classes are more of interactive sessions. Faculty is easy to approach

Dislikes

It's difficult to pay attention to each and every student in a class of 250
The laboratories are still old infrastructured, maybe the new ones are on their way

Internships Opportunities:

Internship is mandatory rotational in all the departments of medicine - Medicine, Surgery, Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Dermatology, Anesthesia, Psychiatry and more. Stipend of 25,000 is given permission month. We're posted in the afflied hospitals with our college named: 1. Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Hospital 2. CKM hospital 3. Regional Eye Hospital 4. Govt Maternity Hospital 5. TB and Chest Diseases hospital

Likes

Campus and the ground is very huge and calm environment
Facilities and the work they are doing fir the students
The auditorium and the events in the college

Dislikes

The bushes and the snakes around the campus
Small city and doesn't have a mall or a place for leisure time
Language problem for north people's most are telugu speaking ppl

Internships Opportunities:

Mahatma gandhi hospital is the place where the intership is provided other then mgm you will be pisted in ckm Tb hospital gmh psc ... Stipened is 27000 per month and it will increase Overall outcome is good and you won't regret

Kakatiya Medical College

Likes

Very huge campus with plenty of greenery. Huge ground
Excellent patient inflow in the hospital. Good for clinical exposure
Indoor badminton courts and tt tables available.

Dislikes

Notice boards are not updated often and communication is largely word of mouth or through whatsapp by students
Seniority is shown at every level by students
There are a lot of dogs and animals on campus- buffalos, monkeys, sometimes snakes and the dogs even enter the classrooms occasionally

Internships Opportunities:

Stipend is 27000 a month after deducting mandatory 3000 for the mess. The internship is one year long and you will be posted in either mgmh, gmh, ckm, reh, govt chest hospital. These are the five hospitals affiliated with our college. The work is very hectic but you get to learn a lot if you are interested.

My college have good infrastructure and location
College have all the sports like cricket football basketball badminton
Faculty and expertise and other staffs are very helpful

Dislikes

The mess contains both veg and non veg food and I am vegetarian
Hostel facility are so so not good as different colleges have
Language barrier is seen in our college .... because I belongs from north india

Internships Opportunities:

Internship is available in our college and it is med students have to do intership where they can play do the work as a home surgeon with other doctors and can learn from them ...internship is of 1 year where we have to do work and we can get stipend

kmc warangal - is your dream college ?

Likes

the college and hospital are in near vicinty from hostel
huge patient exposure at the hospital , so more chances of acquiring knowledge
campus in centre of the city so easy to live

Dislikes

college infrastructure is a bit old , hostel needs some repairs
no such thing as mentors or guides for students mental health
teaching methods are quite old school and outdated

Internships Opportunities:

imternship of 1 year is mandatory after finishing 4 years of mbbs course , the stipend is given around 25-27 k per month which is far better than other medical colleges, the work load is quite more with irregular sleeping schedules and food habits.

KMC- preparing you to be a doctor and for real life

Likes

Lots of cadavers in dissection hall so we get ample opportunities to learn practical Anatomy.
As it is a government hospital and college, you get very good clinical exposure in postings and internship. There are a variety of cases in each department and patients are very cooperative. Internship is an all rounded experience.
Professors are highly educated and post graduates are good mentors. Academically it is a very good college.

Dislikes

The seniority culture has reduced a lot in recent times but it still has a long way to go.
Hostels and washrooms are old and dilapidated. New hostels are being built but only for certain years. The old mess block needs some serious repair work.
Very few fests and events. Even the one annual fest we have gets cancelled if principal doesnt give permission.

Internships Opportunities:

One year compulsory internship at the end of the course in Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Hospital, Warangal and affiliated hospitals. Patient load is good so we get ample clinical exposure. Hands on learning and learning on the job. No on campus placements.

The LIFE AT KMC

Likes

The vast ground which provides opportunities to make more friends
The different kinds of games available in the college
The different fests conducted in a daily basis for enjoyment

Dislikes

The part where we need to travel a bit of distance
The presence of hospital far from college
And the heat is very bad sometimes, but manageable

Internships Opportunities:

Internship opportunities are vast into all the available branches of the hospital ranging from obgy, paediatrics, general medicine, surgery, radiology, psychology etc The experiences one gets is simply immeasurable

Internships are provided by the University to the allotted hospital where we can learn the most and use our MBBS knowledge to treat the patients the patient inflow to the KMC is very high and new construction is being built by the government which is well equipped and we can the rare of the rarest cases
