KIET School of Management (KIET SoM) is the business and management wing of the prestigious KIET Group of Institutions located in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. The yearly intake for the AICTE approved MBA program offered by KIET - SoM is 120 students.
KIET School of Management offers a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) program in different specializations. It was established in 2004 with affiliation from the Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow.

- Only online mode of application is allowed for application through UPSEE counselling and also for direct admission through institute level admission for vacant seats after counselling.
- The application fee for admission level application (INR 1000/-) can be paid through demand drafts only.
- Reserved category candidates are allowed a relaxation of 5% marks in the minimum marks eligibility criteria.
- Candidates appearing in their final year exam of the qualifying degree are eligible to apply. Such candidates are however provided provisional admission.
- Admission through Lateral Entry is not permissible for MBA programs.
- Applicants are selected on the basis of UPSEE-MBA score.
- CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ ATMA qualified candidates are exempted from taking the UPSEE test and can directly apply for counselling.

KIET School of Management – MBA Admissions 2024
KIET School of Management offers an MBA program with specializations in several management disciplines at the postgraduate level. The areas of specialization for the MBA program include Human Resource Management, Finance Management and Marketing Management, with dual specialization options in International Business, Rural Development and Information Technology.
The basic eligibility criteria for admission to the MBA program is a bachelor’s degree in any discipline. Candidates are further required to score at least 50% marks in the last qualifying exam. Selection of them is done on the basis of UPSEE score and its respective counselling.
Aspiring candidates may fill the online application form for MBA UPSEE conducted by APJAKTU. The application fee for UPSEE and its respective counselling for MBA can be paid online using credit or debit cards and net banking methods. For management quota seats, candidates can fill the online application form available at the institute website.

- Candidates applying for MBA can also apply with a valid CET (CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ AIMA/ GMAT/ CMAT) score. Such candidates do not require to take the UPSEE test for MBA.
- They can apply for direct admission on the basis of merit. Seats in this category are subject to vacancy/ lapse after UPSEE counselling.
- Management Diploma holders can apply for direct admission through institute quota.
KIET School of Management Application Process 2024
Admission to KIET School of Management for admission to the various MBA courses is through AKTU counselling based on entrance test score/ rank for the concerned program. The detailed application process for AKTU counselling is -as follows:
Application
- Candidates seeking admission through AKTU counselling may visit the official website of the university/ UPSEE website (www.upsee.nic.in) and click on the relevant link for online application/ registration.
- All particulars in the application form must be filled correctly. The candidate must opt for KIET School of Management as the preferred choice of institute while filling the application form.
- The Application fee can be paid online via credit/ debit card or net-banking. No other mode of payment is allowed.
- Candidates should keep the printout of the application confirmation page for record. They are also advised to note down the Application Form Number for any future correspondence.
Counselling
- AKTU publishes a merit list on the basis of entrance exam rank/ score based on applications for each program.
- After declaration of merit list, candidates must visit the counselling venue on the assigned dates and fill in their choice of programs and choice of institute.
- Seats are allotted the candidates based on their UPSEE score, and the choice made by them at the counselling.
- The candidates after receiving their allotment letter must report at the institute for confirmation of admission.
