Q1. What is the difference between M.Sc. Environment and Safety at CSIBER and a regular M.Sc. Environmental Science?
Ans. M.Sc. Environment and Safety at CSIBER uniquely combines environmental science with industrial safety management. In addition to core environmental topics like EIA, EMS, pollution control, and biotechnology, it covers industrial safety concepts, making graduates eligible for roles as both Environmental Officers and Safety Officers in industries. A regular M.Sc. Environmental Science typically focuses only on the science aspects without the safety management component.
Q2. What is the selection process for M.Sc. Environment and Safety at CSIBER?
Ans. The selection is based on a total of 200 marks: degree marks (100), written test (50), group discussion (25), and personal interview (25). The written test is 2 hours long and covers English, General Knowledge, and Elementary Mathematics. Candidates who perform well in the written test are shortlisted for GD and PI. Final selection is strictly on merit.
Q3. What are the career opportunities after M.Sc. Environment and Safety from CSIBER?
