Centre of Management Studies, Dibrugarh University is the easternmost centre for higher education in the country. Dibrugarh University was established in 1965 and has now become major intellectual hub in the state of Assam.
Centre of Management Studies, Dibrugarh University offers MBA (FT), MBA (PT), BBA, PGDTM and PhD courses.
- Application form for admission is available both online & offline but has to be submitted offline.
- Candidates appearing/ have appeared for higher secondary exams are eligible to apply for BBA program under various disciplines.
- For MBA and PG Diploma courses, only the candidates having graduation degree are eligible to apply.
- Post graduate degree holders can apply for doctoral level courses at the centre.
- Admissions to BBA is done on the basis of merit.
- For MBA courses, candidates are selected on the basis of scores in CAT/ MAT/ CMAT followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
- The selection for PGDTM course is done on the basis of a written test and personal interview.
- Admissions to Ph.D courses will be through research entrance test by the university- DURAT.

CMSDU UG Admissions 2024
CMS, Dibrugarh University offers three year Bachelor’s program in Business Administration (BBA) with specialization in Marketing Management, Human Resource Management, Management of Insurance Business, Financial Management, Hospital & Health Care Management, Travel & Tourism Management and Digital Marketing.
Applicants must have appeared for class 12th of Assam Higher Secondary Education (AHSEC) or equivalent. Minimum qualifying marks in the examination is 50%. Admissions is based on the basis of merit i.e. marks scored in the qualifying examination.

- The centre will issue a waiting list (if necessary).
- Candidates in the waiting list will be called for interview along with the provisionally selected candidates.
- In case if the seats are left vacant, such candidates will be eligible for admissions.
CMSDU PG & PGDTM Admissions 2024
At post graduate level, the centre offers one year post graduate diplomas in Tourism Management and MBA program. MBA is offered as both part time (3 year) and full time course (four semesters).
Candidates apply for MBA (full time and part time) must have completed Bachelor’s in any disciplines except Music and Fine Arts and secured 50% aggregate marks.
For full time MBA courses, candidates are admitted on the basis of scores in MAT/CAT/CMAT scores followed by personal interview and group discussion. For part time course admissions, candidates are selected on the basis of personal interview and industry experience.
For PG diploma admissions also, merit list of selected candidates will be issued on the basis of their score in written entrance test and personal interview.

- Candidates pursuing MBA (part time) – three year course, will be awarded certificate in management in first year, Diploma after the completion of second year and degree after third year.
- Foreign applicants and/ or Sponsored candidates are exempted from the entrance exam.
- Foreign candidates must have passed the qualifying exam in English medium or must have a valid score in ELTIS/ TOFEL.

The institute offers Ph.D course as both full time and part time course.

- The question paper will consist of 100 marks and will be for the duration of three hours.
- Minimum qualifying marks in the entrance exam is 45%.
- Following candidates are exempted from the written entrance test:
- Candidates who have completed M.Phil (regular mode)
- NET JRF qualified candidates
- Candidates having managerial level experience for at least 10 years
- Teachers of college and university having minimum 10 years of experience in regular post
CMSDU Application Process 2024
Candidates will have to submit the applications for admissions to CMSDU offline.
- Application forms will be available at the Admissions Office, Dibrugarh University.
- Forms will also be available at the website of the university; candidates can take the print of the available forms.
- Candidates must submit the filled in application form with all the necessary documents at the office of the Head of Centre of Management Studies.
- Applicants seeking admissions under reserved categories shall submit their applications at the Deputy Registrar Office along with the certificates supporting the claim for reservation.
- List of eligible candidates selected for final round of Personal Interview will be available at the notice board of the centre.
