Sushant School of Art and Architecture (SSAA), Ansal University is a private architecture college which was established in the year of 1989, located in Gurgaon, National Capital Region, India. The school is recognized by the Council of Architecture (COA), All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) and University Grand Commission (UGC).

• SSAA Gurgaon offers a five-year-long undergraduate degree in Architecture and a four-year-long degree in Planning. 
• At the PG level, the institute offers a Master’s degree program in Architecture and Planning.
• Admission to the Undergraduate programs is done through NATA or JEE Main examination.
• Admission to the Postgraduate programs is conducted through the GATE examination.

For B.Arch.

In order to meet the eligibility criteria for the B.Arch program, a candidate needs to pass 10+2 level examination with overall aggregate marks (50%) + Mathematics (Minimum passing marks)+NATA score/JEE Mains score.

Weightage for composite Merit Index:

• 10+2 Marks: 50%
• NATA Score: 50% 
  or
• JEE Mains Score: 40%

Admission in B.Arch is done on the basis of marks scored in the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA). 

Seats Available: 150 seats

Sushant School of Art and Architecture will publish the B.Arch results for the top 80 selected students on the college website. Students whose names appear in the merit list must visit the campus and produce the following documents:

• Xth Standard Mark Sheets 
• XIIth Standard Mark Sheets 
• JEE Paper 2 Score Card (If Applicable)
• NATA Score Card (if Applicable) 
• Aadhar Card 
• Haryana Domicile Certificate

For B.Plan/B.Plan (Sustainable Planning)

To eligible for admission, candidates must secure a minimum of 50% marks in a 12th Standard /senior secondary any discipline. 

The candidates must submit a duly filled up form (online) along with a statement of purpose of not more than 1000 words followed by an interactive session for the shortlisted applicants. 

Distribution of Marks: 

• 10+2 exams (50% weightage)
• Interactive session (50% weightage)

For B.Sc. (Building Projects)

Admission will be granted on the basis of the following:

• Minimum of 50% aggregate marks in class 12th or equivalent (Weightage 50%)
• An interaction session for the shortlisted applicants. (Weightage 50%)

M.Arch.

Admission to the M.Arch. programs will be governed on the basis of the following regulations:

• Minimum of 50% aggregate marks in B.Arch. (Weightage 50%)
• Duly filled up form (online) along with a statement of Purpose of not more than 1000 words submitted at the admissions office.
• An interview session for the shortlisted applicants along with a portfolio of work. (Weightage 50%)

M.Plan.

Admission to the M.Plan. (Urban Planning) program will be done on the basis of the following criteria:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture/Planning /Civil Engineering or a Master’s degree in Geography/Economics/Sociology.
• Minimum of 55% marks in Bachelor’s degrees or Master’s Degree.
• Duly filled up form (online) along with an SOP of not more than 1000 words.
• GATE students will be given preference.
• Students can also transfer from another institute.

Weightage Criteria:

• Marks in Bachelor’s Degree: 50% Weightage
• Personal Interview: 20% Weightage
• Essay Writing: 30% Weightage

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for admission to all the above-mentioned courses (except for Reading Interiors), the candidates must have qualified Class IX exams.

The minimum eligibility requirement for a Certificate Course in Reading Interiors, the candidates must be pursuing a B.Arch/BID degree.

The institute offers a doctoral research program leading to the award of a Ph.D. degree 

Eligibility Criteria

• The eligibility required for admission to a Ph.D. Programme shall be an M.Arch. Degree.
• A minimum of 55% marks in the qualifying exam. 

Selection Process

Admission will be granted on the basis of merit.

Admission Requirements:

• Satisfying the minimum eligibility criteria 
• Entrance Examination 
• An interview/presentation about the research interests/area to the SRC after the Entrance Examination

Exam Pattern-
