Life of a law student

Likes

Expert faculty with mentorship, practical learning
Campus life is amazing, excellent amenities, vibrant student life
Strong hands on training and expert sessions and there are also reputable recruiters

Dislikes

High turnover; frequent syllabus changes within ongoing semester
Limited sports access and common space for hostel
Final placements were too complicated and hardly 2-3 firms came to recruit.

Placement eligibility starts from 4th year end, 8th semester end. Total students placed were approx 18% and median package was 4.8-4lpa. And top opportunity was from Deloitte 6-10lpa. My plans after this degree is to study further for llm and later with job apply for phd

Likes

the ambience and the college environment is welcoming and free of all judgments of sorts. There are students from diverse cultures and all of them seem to be pleasant but not over- intruding. Making friends is easy and worth a while, and its beautifu
The campus is very green and soo many plats to admire if you like spending time in peaceful corners.
The faculty is nice and supportive, not all will be your favourite but with few, it is a bond.

Dislikes

The rules are arbitrary and unamendable. The student sessions are only to listen to our concerns and throw them away.
The college is unneccesarily expensive and not all charges are reasonable.
The college has too many events and soetimes it may seem like nuisance.

Placement Experience:

The placements are promised for law, but it's better if you apply by yourself because Karnavati doesn't have much reputation when it comes to law placements. It is much better if you get the job on your own merits. Make sure you do internships every vacation and gain hands-on experience at multiple places.

A good experiential college

Likes

The Faculty members are very helpful. Some of the faculty members have earned their PH.D.s and have a lot of knowledge in their fields. They are even experienced in the field hence opt for even practical exercise during theoretical class.
The infrastructure is amazing. There is moot court hall, a library, stationery, an amphitheater, an auditorium and the college even provides us with the legal databases used for research.
The college environment can be refreshing for a student from a hectic schedule as it organizes various events on big scale as well as small scale.

Dislikes

If you are a localities then it is a challenge, travelling back and forth for the events happening in evening because they don't provide transportation service at night.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is designed so that way the students can use the theoretical knowledge when they go for their internships during the summer break as well as the winter breaks. For example, the subject of Drafting, P Leading, and conveyancing is taught during their third year which helps the student in drafting in their internships.

Remarks:

The University has a great campus and provides with great career opportunities. It had a really well elaborated course structure and the faculties are well experienced. The University has a very diverse and students from all around India is there.

Remarks:

The college externally is green, big and beautiful. Internally, the facilities are good and decent. The management is well though it needs to be improved. The environment is healthy. The college needs on work on placement cell.
