Course Description

Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech) with specialization in Mechanical Engineering is a four year undergraduate course and is one of the most sought after degree courses in engineering stream. The eligibility to take admission in this course is 10+2 pass or equivalent.

Mechanical Engineering is the oldest branch of engineering. It was emerged as field of study in 18^th century when industrial revolution took place in Europe. In India engineering was started with the establishment of IIT Roorkee, which was established in 1860s as Thomson College of Engineering. Now there are about 4300 engineering colleges in India including Institutes of National Importance i.e. IITs, NITs private colleges and universities like BITS Pilani, VIT etc.

graduating thoughts for four year life

Fees and Financial Aid:

the fees of gec-bhuj for mechanical course for 1st year is 1600 each term and incresing semester wise as there were many labs and worshops are included . In 2nd year fess is 2750 each term which includes goverment fees like labs&worshop fees(150rupees), Library fee(50 ruppes),etc and non-goverment fess like developmeny fee(200), identity card fee(50)etc . And same as for 3rd year and 2950rupess for 4th year. there was non scholarship for admission in gec bhuj

Good college for engineering

Fee Structure And Facilities:

Tuition fees are 1500 and total of 3000/ year + approx 1450 exam fees. Although there are many scholarships available through government but this fees are so low and there is campus placement in feb every year although amount varies some year there are less placement some year high.

Government provides many scholarships schemes for the different criteria of student studying in colleges. For OBC caste the scholarship given annually is 5500 and that for the Sc caste students is 9000.For the general caste students the scholarship provided is nearly 6000 and instrumental scholarships of rupees 5000 is provided to the first year enrolled students.

As it is a government college it has all the scholarship schemes available which include some government and some private scholarships as well. I have personally availed mukhyamantri scholarship yojna which has a definite process followed by verification in the recommended institute whose amount is provided by two months.
