My college life

Likes

The campus is clean huge and nature friendly
The teaching faculty is very friendly and supportive
Supportive towards extracurricular activities

Dislikes

Maybe the management because most of the lecturers were replaced
It would be better if we would have a separate playground
More canteen as there are only 2 and it gets crowded

Admission:

I wanted to apply for Alvas college since it was far from my place i didn't do that and maybe coming to Agnes was the best decision i have ever made and the admission process is completely online and you just have to go to college for the interview before the academic year begins

Likes the ambiance and the auditorium which is big enough.the open air where all programs and event take place .final year trips and outings are very nice and had a fulfilling enjoyment

Admission:

I directly came to this college and got seat too because bsc psychology offering place where very few and admision process was also easy . college starts at 9 and if 75pecent attendance is mandatory.overall not too strict

Likes

Teachings in the college was really good. They bought CA's to teach us as well.
The faculty were friendly and helpful. They were indeed supporting us a lots.
The campus is friendly and helping towards each and every student.

Dislikes

At times there use to be some teachers who demotivated at present they aren't a part of the college.
The CA teachers even though we had classes they use to take online classes at times not always.
The seniors at our college at times use to act as if they are our lecturers.

Admission:

I didn't apply for any other college because i always wanted to continue in the same place where i started my studies. So thats the reason i chose this college. I didn't get any rejections as i had got calls for other colleges but i didn't wanna go there so i continued where i wanted to continue. There is not long process when we joined we had go to college and fill forms and pay the first installment of fees if we wanted to pay. Now i think it is completely online based. After 2nd PUC we can join this course. Cutoffs are 50 and above and 60 and above. Overall the admission experience was good as i myself went ahead for my admission.

"What you need to know before applying to college"

Agnes when i joined was a girls college but know it has become co education from 2023 i liked the campus very much and the faculties are very friendly
Variuos events conducted to bring out the talents of the students which i liled the most
Educational trips and social services being provided by the college is best

Admission:

I wanted a course which includes BCoM along with CA and i got the one i wanted since this is a autonomous college there is no such subjects for BCOM . Subjects which are included in CA will be the same for BCOM and this is the one best thing which makes student study well without getting burden of managing two sector separately. Since i joined during covid. There was online interview during the joining.

Apart from the main course we are studying the college allows us to choose additional subjects from different stream as our part of curriculum
Apart from academics they also encourage us to participate in extra curricular activities

Dislikes

To be Frank I don't dislike anything because I didn't felt that something is missing

Actually to be friend I didn't apply today any college but I decided to go to Candra College and my parents rejected because of my parents decision I went to st Agnes college which is the best decision what I can say

Things I lighten the college is it is very much friendly and there is a best faculties who is very supportive and and there always available to the students.
And also there are more girls compared to boys as it is a woman's college before but now we have boys also in our college there are almost 81 student in MCA where they have been two divisions and 40 in age and the boys number is less in our class the
The campus is very good and the infrastructure in the campus is very worth it everything is like almost positive in that college

Dislikes

Things i side is like is that the timings of the college which is like very busy we will be not getting three hours like will be having continuous hours for 4 to 5 hours and also lab which will be hectic towards
There are many less things that I can say which I disliked

Admission:

Compared to other college this college is very famous in Mangalore and which is nearby to me and there is election and many of the peoples are got placed in wearing bed companies and faculties are also too good and this college and as we can focus on our cultural as well as syllabus equily and which is very good we can see many different peoples coming in a same campus for different streams and there are many of the student studying in this college and which is dated almost 5 out of 5 in Mangalore which is also an autonomous college

The would like to appreciate the education I gained from my college in all the ways maybe it’s our course languages and values overall excellent
I loved the ambience of my college had great expirience learning there they gave importance for both studies and extra curriculum activities
The faculty members are supportive and friendly gained lots of knowledge because of them

Dislikes

There is nothing to dislike about my college
We missed wearing colors dress because the uniform system was introduced I didn’t like it
Nothing to dislike about the college that’s all

Admission:

I chose this college for my education I got the right college I wanted to be in and gained well and good I never applied for any other college The admission process was good and easy had no issues about admission

It's been nice for me since previous semester but now a days it's being hard to survive since the attandance issues had effected me very hard and hence should keep a stable attandance from the beginning itself and also should submit the medical cert
The college gives us a wide experience of social life and helps to interact with other college students by conducting inter college fests and as well as events which helps the students to build a strong career and as well as good human culture andlo.
To be honest the faculty teaches well and supports students in each and every aspect s of studies and lot more interactive sections which helps the students in building good knowledge and hence have a good conversation with the lecturers and staffs

Dislikes

The way teachers behave towards back benchers and give lack of attention and doesnt even care about them and the way they talks towards them always been a great dislike for me and my friends and even the infrastructure is very hard to survive during
The infrastructure of the college is very hard to survive during summer season s since classrooms have no AC facilitys this has been a great dislike for the students and even the teachers but ofcourse it's hard to afford since the college collects
Claims less amount of fees comparing to rest of the private colleges in manglore

Admission:

I have chosen this college by the suggestion which I had received from my family friends and many other passed out students hence I can't compare my college with other colleges since I had no idea about my college before I join and also no idea about the rest of the colleges in manglore

Campus was big enough to explore and enjoy.
We had many more extracurricular activities.
Apart from studies, there was soo much more where we were given chance to improve ourselves.

Admission:

I've studied in this institution from my elementary schooling to the degree i passed out from. So I don't know what procedures it follows for applying for students coming from other institutions. It is one of the top colleges in Mangalore. So i chose this college over any other colleges. I didn't apply to any other college.

Admission:

I choose this college because it is very good in terms of study activities social work and other curricular activities. It not only teaches but also look for the society. Agnes provides shelter to many family who dont have their own house.
