Admissions to the various courses at Bolpur College are merit-based.
Candidates must score at least 45% aggregate marks in higher secondary/12th standard examination from a recognized board.

Bolpur College Undergraduate Admissions 2024

Bolpur College offers undergraduate pass and honours programmes in Arts, Science and Commerce. Candidates must secure at least 45% aggregate marks in Higher Secondary (H.S) final examination for admission to the pass courses. Honours applicants must obtain 45% marks in the Honours subject (eg. English Honours) applied for along with 45% in aggregate.

For the honours courses, merit is calculated using the formula Merit=A+M
A stand for the aggregate score in 2 languages and 3 best subjects in H.S or 1 language and 4 best subjects
M stands for the score in the honours subject applied for.
Best subjects must not include environmental science or non-relevant subjects.
Candidates must apply online at the college website.
A merit list of shortlisted candidates is released online. after that those candidates have to report to the admissions office with all necessary documents in original.
A receipt of fees from the designated bank branch must also be produced for verification.
Admission is confirmed once all documents are verified and the course fee is paid within the stipulated time period.

Total intake of students for each honours course varies between 26 and 90.
For economics honours, candidates must have Mathematics as a compulsory subject at 10+2 level.
Students who have studied science or commerce at 10+2 level may apply for honours or pass courses in Arts as well.

Bolpur College Application Process 2024

Application forms for the different courses offered by Bolpur College are available online at www.bolpurcollege.in.
Candidates must register themselves by entering a valid phone number and email id.
An OTP is sent to the phone number/email id of the applicant after registering on the website.
Once the OTP is entered, candidates must fill up the application form carefully, adding all educational and personal details without fail.
After submitting the form online, they will not be able to change any information except a few things up to a stipulated time period.
A merit list containing the names of the shortlisted candidates is released by the college once the application process is over.
Multiple merit lists may be released for the same discipline.

Bolpur College Scholarships

Institutional scholarships for minority, SC, ST and girl students are given by the college in partnership with the Government of West Bengal. Kanyashree scholarship is given exclusively to female students.

After the result of higher secondary, I filled up the form & submitted the documents. The whole process was online. After a few weeks the merit list was published & my name was included in that. Then I deposit the admission fee online. & they call me for verification. I verified my documents & chose my core subject, compulsory & others. I successfully got the admission & they got me an identity card.

My college experience

Admission:

I am a student of b.sc zoology honours at Bolpur College which is under Burdwan University. The admission process is very easy and it's an online process, so there is nothing a problem. There is no entrance exam. The cut-off is around 70 - 75 %. You find the application form online through the college website. After getting a chance you have to pay around 4000 rupees something, the full process of admission is very easy and the whole process is conducted online.

Eligibility of the course is 80 plus marks in that subject on HS, then only one name will come for the merit list. Online form fill-up all the notification college website Reservation is not allowed. No improvement admission process good.

Remarks:

Wi-Fi facility is available only for teachers, and there are special classrooms with the latest projectors and are fully air-conditioned. Laboratories are not updated, and many types of modern equipment need to be provided. As it is a government college, it lacks some safety goods also, but they can be managed.

Admission:

This is college under Burdwan University.First i had to do online form fillup and then merit list published.and after that verifucation of my original documents occur by these way my admission is confirmed.You have to do the onlinr form fillup rather admission will not processed.
