Aquinas College Cochin Admission 2024: UG & PG Admissions, Reservation
Aquinas College located in Cochin, Kerala was established in the year 1981. The college offers B.Sc, B.Com and BA courses at the UG level and, M.Sc and M.Com at the PG level. Aquinas College is affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam.

Aquinas College BA, B.Sc and B.Com Admission 2024
Aquinas College offers three-year B.Sc, B.Com and BA course in various disciplines. Candidates applying for any course must have passed 10+2 with the concerned subject. Selection in all the courses is on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination.

- 5% relaxation is given to SC/ ST/ PD candidates in the qualifying exam criteria.
- For the preparation of merit list, the bonus of 15 marks shall be awarded to ex-servicemen, Dependents and Widow of Jawan/ ex-servicemen and applicants with NCC or NSS Certificates at HSC.
Aquinas College M.Sc and M.Com Admission 2024
Aquinas College offers PG courses of M.Sc and M.Com in two disciplines each. Candidates applying should have passed a graduate degree with at least 50% marks with one core/main subject and two complementary/subsidiary subjects from any recognized university. Selection in both the courses is on the basis of qualifying exam performance of the candidate.

- For M.Sc courses, MBBS or B.Tech graduates can also apply.
- A bonus of five marks will be awarded to NCC and NSS candidates for admission to all programs.
- Also, a bonus of 15 marks shall be awarded to ex-servicemen, Dependents and Widow of Jawan/ ex-servicemen.
Aquinas College Cochin Application Process 2024
Candidates seeking admission need to follow mentioned steps in order to apply online:
- Register at MGU CAP website by clicking on UG/ PG CAP.
- Make a fee payment (INR 600 for UG courses) and INR 1000 for PG courses (500 for SC/ST) through online mode by clicking on the “PAY NOW” button.
- After fee payment, you will be redirected to the application form page.
- Fill the application form.
- Submit the form and take the print out of the submitted application form.
Candidates need to produce the following documents in original before the Principal/ Head of the college/ institution at the time of admission:
- Allotment Memo received online.
- Receipt of fee remitted in the bank.
- Proof of date of birth.
- Transfer Certificate (TC) and Character Certificate from the Institution last attended.
- Mark sheet of HSC and Graduation (for PG course applicant).
- Eligibility Certificate from Mahatma Gandhi University, in the case of candidates who have passed HSC examination from other Boards except for CBSE/CISCE.
- Migration Certificate (if applicable).
- Caste certificate in the case of SC/ST candidates.
- Community Certificate along with non-creamy layer certificate (The non-creamy layer certificate should not have been issued earlier than 12 months prior to the submission of application)
- Candidates seeking bonus/weight age of marks will have to produce relevant certificates in support of their claim.
Note: Candidates admitted under Sports/ PD/ Cultural/ Community Merit/ Management/ Lakshadweep and Malayalee quota will have to remit University fee (of INR 840 for General candidates and INR 40 for reserved candidates) mandatorily at the university portal.

- Cultural Quota: one seat in each program.
- 20% seats are reserved under Management Quota and 10% seats are reserved under Community Quota.

- The professor's ( teachers ) in my mathematics department are very cooperative . They do help us if we ask and doubts and give references too .
- Especially the computer teacher sir who was my class tutor for first two years of my degree . He used to teach us more about out of syllabus stuffs rather than the syllabus.ut was quite informative classes . But he used to complete portions in time .
Dislikes
- I hated NCC in my college . I had opted for that in first yr of college but came to hate it in my second yr
- I hated my course itself. , I became too lazy ig , I wasn't much sociable towards my classmates
Admission:
There wasn't an extended exam to begin with my college. About 50% of the seats are managed by the college and the rest by the University allotment. I got admission through the management quota by OBC Latin catholic category merit.
Likes
- I liked the teachers. They were very supportive alos the principle, hod. Great mentor you will ever ask form
- College environment is the best. Everyone is supportive including the non teaching staffs.
Dislikes
- Time is short with teachers because you will love the teachers company more.
- Teachers are lovable so that we needed more time with them.
Admission:
It's a government college and you get admission by your eligible marks. There will be benefits regarding your caste and you will get an amount each semester and you will get assistance throughout your course.
Admission:
Eligibility to get admission is 75% mark in higher secondary. The application form is available at the college itself. And for reservation benefitss, a community quota is there. Application for community quota is also available at college. I didn't face any difficulty in the admission process as my elder sister was a former student of Aquinas College. So we were well known about the admission process. The admission process is quite easy and not an overwhelming process.
Admission:
I applied to 6 colleges, I got admission calls from 3 colleges. Aquinas College was not far away from my home and I got the subject of my choice. That is why I choose this college. The admission procedure was merit-based. All processes were so easy and the staffs have a good helping mind.
Remarks:
I was alloted to this college and i had any other option rather to choose to study here. But then i realise that it was best decision i had made to study here because of the faculty crew. They give you their best. Moreover along with their amountless effort they make sure each student of their class are getting along in their academics. They help with their best to bring up those students who are academically weak
Remarks:
The ambiance of our college, no words to describe it such a beautiful scenery, a perfect Institute for a better education and for other extraordinary activities. This university belongs to Mahatma Gandhi University, kottayam. I opted this course, because I love to learn English and interested about studying literature. Also this college is well known in sports championship. All facilities and infrastructure of this college is superb.
Remarks:
This institution is near to my house. This institution is kinda strict and also is a Christian institute. Teachers are well aware of the students. They take the responsibility to make their students study and they give their 100% skill into teaching
