There are regular CMEs, CDEs and CSMs that are conducted, helping us be up-to-date with all current advancements, technologies, treatments and diagnostic modalities.
Apart from treating patients and learning in college, we're also taken to RHCs and UHCs during our public health dentistry postings, widening our perspective and ability to deal with different patients and learn at the same time
Since we have medical college attached with the dental college, we're able to have the best of both worlds, especially in the first three years when we have medical subjects too

Fees and Financial Aid:

The total fee for my batch was ?3LPA and an additional fee of ?75,000 was paid for books and instruments. Additionally, we had to spend some money every year as exam fees, which varied from year to year and was compulsory. Apart from this, we had to spend money on buying some additional instruments and materials for ourselves by the staff, like suture bed, wires for wire bending, etc., but this was not paid to the college, but rather spent on shops to get the materials and instruments and learn. In internship year, we were given stipend every month.

Life at SRM

Fees and Financial Aid:

I was charged 6lakh per year and since am a day scholar bus fee was 50k per annum. No Scholarship benefits were given to me and campus interviews were neither present in college. The stipend was also not given to us by that time
