AMET Business School was initially established as Department of Management Studies in 2001 and got its present name in 2013. The Business school is a constituent of Academy of Maritime Education and Training i.e. AMET University. AMET Business School offers BBA course at the Undergraduate level and MBA course in two disciplines at the Postgraduate level.
- Application forms for both BBA and MBA course can be filled in both online and offline mode.
- Candidates applying for MBA course must have completed a Bachelor’s degree after 10+2 with 50% marks.
- Applicants of BBA course should have passed HSC examination.
- Admission to BBA course is based on an entrance exam conducted by the University followed by Interview.
- A valid score card in any of CAT, XAT, ATMA, TANCET is required for admission to MBA program.

AMET Business School BBA Admissions 2024
AMET Business School offers BBA course in Shipping. In BBA course, students will be required to choose one of the 3 focus areas from Liner Trade Port Agency and Chartering Multimodal Transportation.
Minimum eligibility to apply for BBA course is 50% marks in HSC examination. An entrance exam will be conducted to shortlist candidates for the interview and medical screening. Entrance exam will be based on Higher Secondary syllabus.

Key Points:

AMET Business School MBA Admissions 2024
AMET Business School offers MBA in two disciplines - Shipping and Logistics Management and Oil and Gas Management. Candidates applying for Oil and Gas Management course must have obtained Undergraduate degree with distinction in any of Petroleum, Petrochemical, Mechanical and Instrumentation engineering.
Applicants of Shipping and Logistics management course must have graduation degree with at least 50% marks. Valid scores in any of CAT, MAT, XAT, ATMA, JMET, TANCET are accepted to shortlist candidates for GD and Interview.
Applicants who are already mariners should either have Master Foreign Going Certificate of Competency or First Class Motor or Steam or Combined (Chief Engineer) Certificate of Competency issued by the Directorate General of Shipping, Ministry of Shipping, Government of India or its counterparts in other countries in addition to six-year of study-cum-training after 10+2.

AMET Business School Application Process 2023
For both the BBA and MBA courses candidates can fill the application form either through online or offline mode. However, candidates have to register for entrance exam separately on the respective official website.
Online Mode
- For online application form candidates need to visit the website and click on “Application form 2022-2023“ link on home page.
- Click on Online Application form and fill the application form.
- Make online payment of INR 1000 through online payment gateway.
Offline Mode
- Candidates can also obtain the application forms in-person against Cash Payment/ DD drawn in favor of ‘AMET University, Chennai’ for INR 1000 from the University campus.
- Alternatively, candidates can also download the Application Form from website.
- To download the application form, candidate need to visit the university website and click on “Application form 2022-2023” link on home page.
- Click on Download the application form and fill the enquiry cum registration form.
- Candidates will receive an OTP on the registered mobile.
- Enter the OTP and an application number will be generated along with the link to download the form.
- Fill the application form with blue/ Black pen only.
- For application fee candidate can make online payment of INR 1000 through AMET University website.
- Application fee can also be paid through Demand Draft drawn in favour of AMET University, Chennai.
- Filled in Application Form along with online payment transaction receipt can be sent by courier/post to the Admission Office of the AMET University.
