School of Management, SRM IST Kanchipuram Course Admission 2025: Dates, Fees, Eligibility, Application Process, Selection Criteria

SRM School of Management offers full-time BBA (Hons), BBA (Digital Marketing) and BBA (Rural Management) programmes. The duration of the courses is 3-years.

SRM School of Management BBA Eligibility

The minimum eligibility to apply for BBA is a pass in 10+2 or equivalent examination with at least 60% aggregate marks or equivalent.

SRM School of Management BBA Selection Criteria

• Candidates are called for counseling on the basis of minimum marks in the qualifying examination.
• The institute will issue a Provisional Allotment Letter (PAL) to confirm the candidate's admission.

The management school offers full-time MBA in 6 specializations and MBA in Banking and Financial Services (BFS). Both the courses are of 2-years duration.

Specializations in General MBA: Hospital Management, Waste Management and Social Entrepreneurship, Banking and Financial Services, Artificial Intelligence & Data Science, Digital Marketing and Business Analytics.

For MBA Dual Specialization, candidates can pick any of the following specializations: Marketing, Finance, HRM, Systems and Operations.

SRM School of Management MBA Eligibility Criteria 

Eligibility for MBA

• Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree with 60% marks.
• Candidates must have a valid score of CAT/ XAT/ MAT/ GMAT/ TANCET/ NMAT/ CMAT or SRM Joint Entrance Exam (SRMJEEM).
• Professionals with work experience of 1 – 3 years are given preference.

Eligibility for MBA (BFS)

• Candidates must have secured 50% marks in 10th, 12^th, and Bachelor’s degrees.
• Candidates must have obtained 60% marks in any of the management tests such as CAT/ XAT/ NMAT/ SNAP or SRM IST.
• Candidates must also have a professional work experience of less than 2 years also eligible to apply.
• Candidates must also be below 26 years of age.

SRM School of Management MBA Selection Criteria

Admission to MBA and MBA (BFS) is done on the basis of minimum marks required in the entrance exams.

Step 1: Preliminary screening of online applications for proof of basic educational qualification and work experience (work experience is desirable, not mandatory).

Step 2: Minimum cut-off marks in common entrance tests are used for screening students for the shortlisting process in subsequent rounds of the pre-admission process.

Step 3: Psychometric Test is conducted to check the ability, competency, and intelligence levels an MBA aspirant must possess.

Step 4: Group discussion (GD) /Case Discussion and Personal Interview (PI) are used to analyze whether an aspirant possesses the personality traits or qualities and soft skills.

SRMJEEM Exam Pattern

• The exam will be conducted online for 60 mins 
• It has 50 objective type questions
• There will be no negative marking 

Ph.D programme at SRSOM is offered in 5 specializations namely Marketing, Human Resource, Finance, Strategic, and Operations.

SRM School of Management Ph.D. Eligibility Criteria

• The basic eligibility to apply for Ph.D. program is having passed Master’s degree in any discipline from a recognized Institution/University with at least 55% aggregate marks.
• Candidates having a M.Phil degree with 55% marks are also eligible
• 5% relaxation in marks is provided to Reserved categories

SRM School of Management Ph.D. Selection Criteria

The eligible candidates are required to take an entrance examination 

• Mode of Examination: Either Computer-Based Test (CBT) or Paper-pencil. 
• Syllabus: 50% research methodology and 50% subject specific.

Candidates who qualify the entrance exam have to participate in a presentation on the proposed research area and technical-cum-personal interview.

NOTE: Candidates who have qualified UGC-NET/ JRF/ UGC-CSIRNET/ SLET/ GATE/ Teacher fellowship are exempted from taking this exam.
