Applied Research International, Delhi is an institute that provides training for candidates aspiring to become navy cadets. It provides both pre-sea and post sea courses commonly known as B.Sc. in Nautical Science. ARI Delhi also provides professional development courses. The duration for each course is different.

Once the candidates have completed B.Sc. in Nautical Science and trained for a year with any company, they can apply for the post-sea and professional development courses.
The registration form for each course is available online. Registration forms are different for pre- and post-sea level courses.
The minimum eligibility criteria to apply for B.Sc. is 10+2 or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English as compulsory subject with more than 60% marks in PCM and 50% marks in English.
For selection, candidates will also have to appear and clear first rounds of entrance test and interviews done by ARI on behalf of various companies.
They will also have to clear entrance test and interview rounds taken by various shipping companies and get placed into at least 1 company.
Candidates will also have to clear DG medical examination and clear All India Common Entrance test (IMU CET) conducted by Indian Maritime University, Chennai.
For UG courses, 15% of the total seats are reserved for SC, 7.5% for ST candidates, 27% seats for OBC. Apart from this, SC/ST candidates get a relaxation of 5% aggregate marks required for eligibility.

ARI Delhi B.Sc. in Nautical Science Admission 2024

Applied Research International, Delhi offers B.Sc in Nautical Science with an intake of 120 seats. The admissions for B.Sc. in Nautical Science are done on the basis of entrance test followed by an interview. The minimum eligibility criteria for applying for B.Sc. in Nautical Science courses are to clear 10+2 or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as a compulsory subject with minimum 60% marks. Candidates are also required to pass in English with more than 50% marks in 10^th or 10+2.

The admission procedure involves the following steps:

Clearing 1^st round of entrance test and interview conducted by ARI on behalf of various shipping companies
Clearing the final round of entrance and interview conducted by various shipping companies.

Admission:

The admission is done on the entrance exam basis and on interview basis. To get admission in this college the student should have passed in B.Sc in physics, mathematics, chemistry or electronics with physics not less than 50% in the final year. The student who got B.E degree or B.Tech degree from IIT or from college recognized by AICTE with not less than 50% in the final year.

Admission to the institute is based on direct application followed by a short test conducted by the institute. After the test qualification short interview is conducted post which admission is granted. Experience of a Nautical college

Admission:

The college required a minimum of 55% in physics, maths and chemistry to be able to apply for the entrance exam. I got more than that, so I was able to sit for the entrance, which through a bit of hardwork, I was able to crack.
