At UG level, Thiruvalluvar University Distance Education (TIDE) offers courses like BA, B.Com, BCA, BBA and B.Sc. The duration period for each of the courses is 3 years.

The university accepts direct admission to all the UG courses. The selection is done on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination. Only the candidates with 10 + 2 or equivalent educational qualification are eligible to apply.

At postgraduate level, TIDE offers courses like MA, M.Com, M.Sc and MBA for a duration period of 2 years each and PG Diploma for 1 year.

The university accepts direct admission to all the PG courses. The selection is done on the basis of marks obtained in the concerned pre-degree qualification. Only the graduate candidates in concerned subject or equivalent educational qualification are eligible to apply.

Admission:

For taking admission into the distance learning centre of Thiruvalluvar University I simply made an application online. The process is quite simple you have to fill in the details and upload all the required documents. Once the application is verified and approved you will receive a mail regarding that. Post that you have to submit the fees. The reason for opting this university was that one of my seniors in school was pursuing a course from this university and has recommended this to me.
