What is the other categories eligible to apply under Ph.D Part-Time Program?

The following categories of candidates are eligible to apply under Part-Time Program:Full-time teachers of University Departments/ University Colleges/ Colleges affiliated to the University/ Government/ Government aided Polytechnic.Candidates working in Industrial Units/ R&D Departments/ National Laboratories/ Units of Government/ Quasi-Government or any other research laboratories which are recognized by the University to do collaborative research with the University and sponsored by the respective employer.

Can I be employed during my course?

No, these are full-time programs. You will not be able to take on any paid employment through the duration of the program.

Can I get admission based on the entrance test alone?

Depending on the admission criteria, the admission will be based on merit in the entrance test or marks in the qualifying examination. However, all candidates must fulfill the minimum eligibility requirements.

How can I apply under Government Quota?

Admissions to the Government Quota are handled by the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Tamil Nadu. Students who are willing to join KCTBS in the government quota will have to take Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) which is conducted by Anna University, Chennai.

What sort of questions will be asked in Personal Interview?

The questions generally revolve around behaviors, skills and attitudes. Placement Experience:

The placement for batch 2019 is quite good the average salary package is 3.5 and many good conpanies like ITC MRF and many fmcg and finance and operations related comapany came for placement and when comes to internship they are providing but stipend is very low

Placements are good in our campus in last year about 75% were placed with an average of 3.75 L p.a. Placement Experience:

Placement is good. CTC from 4L to 14L per annum . Specialisation based and more Placements for Marketing specialisation. Reputed companies are coming for Campus placement , Pool drive and off-Campus placements. Students are placed mostly within 3rd semesters.
