01 Dec, 2025 CAT 2025 has been concluded successfully. CAT Result 2025 is expected to be declared in the third week of December. Candidates can use the CAT College Predictor to check their admission chances.

NERIM offers various regular and certification courses at UG & PG levels in the disciplines of Management,Science, Arts & Commerce. The institute offers admission to MBA as its Flagship programme. The application form of the institute can be filled out in online mode from their website. For admission to the MBA program, candidates must have a Graduate degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks(45% for the reserved category), and also need to appear for CAT/ MAT or NERIM Entrance Test ( NET) Test score followed by a Group Discussion (GD) & Personal Interview (PI).

These tests happen on different dates - The CAT exam date is Nov 30, 2025. The application fee for the CAT exam is INR 2600 for general category. After the CAT Exam, Students need to register separately on the NERIM official website, while MAT 2025 is set for December. The tentative dates for the NERIM Entrance Test (NET) are not yet public. NERIM Admission Dates 2026

NERIM offers admission to its courses based on scores in the entrance exam, followed by a Group Discussion and PI. The important entrance exam dates are given below. The important dates for the entrance exam for admission to the MBA course at the institute are as follows

NERIM MBA Admission 2026

NERIM offers a 2-year full-time MBA program approved by AICTE. To be eligible for the MBA program, candidates must have a bachelor’s degree (10+2+3 or 10+2+4 pattern) with a minimum of 50% marks(45% for OBS & 42% for ST/SC) in any discipline from a recognized university or institution approved by AICTE or UGC. Final-year students awaiting results are also eligible to apply. The application process is conducted online through the official website.

Selection is based on the candidate's performance in national-level entrance exams such as CAT/ MAT/ NERIM Entrance Test (NET) Test score. Shortlisted candidates are further evaluated through a Group Discussion(GD) & Personal Interview (PI) process.

NERIM MBA Eligibility Criteria

A candidate who possesses a Bachelor Degree of Dibrugarh University or any other recognized university and having at least 2 (Two) years post qualification work experience in any Government, semi government, or Non- Government Organization, is eligible to apply for admission into First Year of Part Time MBA course.
Self Employed Persons having above mentioned qualification and experience shall also be considered for the admission purpose.
The Admission Committee, Department of Business Administration, shall select the candidates for the admission.
There shall be an AdmissionTest in the form of WrittenTest for admission into Part Time MBA Course.
Written Test shall be of 200 marks and it shall consist of General Awareness, Test of Reasoning, Numerical Ability, and English Language. On the basis of performance of Written Test, a Merit List shall be prepared and priority in the admission shall be given on the basis of Merit List.

NERIM Cutoff

NERIM Cutoff for 2025 has not been released. For admission to the MBA program, students need to appear for the NERIM Entrance Test. The overall CAT Percentile cutoff for General Category Students for NERIM Entrance Test ranges is 50 Percentile. The table below shows NERIM Cutoff for 2024:

NERIM UG Admission 2025

NERIM offers a wide range of undergraduate courses under its Faculties of Arts, Science, Agriculture, Commerce, and Education. Admissions are based on the Merit based on intermediate marks,students who have passed 10+2 (or equivalent) with required marks can apply. The college provides both Honours and General streams, including specialized programs in Science.

To get admission into B.Sc. students should have studied Science subjects in 12th. For B.A. and B.Com., students from any stream can apply, but they must usually have at least 45% marks in 12th. The college releases a merit list based on marks scored in class 12th. Students who qualify must attend a counselling session, bring their documents, and pay the admission fee online within 48 hours to confirm their seat. NERIM UG Eligibility Criteria

For admission into the Five-Year integrated BA-LLB program, a candidate shall have passed the Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) or equivalent examination securing 45% in aggregate, provided that there shall be a relaxation of 5% marks for SC/ST and 3% for OBC candidates.
For admission into the Three Year LL.B course, a candidate shall have passed the Bachelor degree in any stream or equivalent from a recognized University of India or outside constituted securing 45% in aggregate, provided that there shall be relaxation of 5% marks for SC/ST and 3% for OBC candidates.
A student who has passed the HS/10+2 Examination in Arts/Science/Commerce from any Board/Council recognized by the University with at least 45% marks (40 % for SC/ST) in aggregate, is eligible to apply for admission into the BSW course.
A student who has passed the Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) in Arts /Science/Commerce of the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council or any other equivalent Examination recognized as such by the University scoring an aggregate of 45% marks with Mathematics as one of the subjects in HS (PassMarks), is eligible to apply for admission into the 3 year BCA program.
For admission into the Three Year BBA course, a candidate shall have passed 10+2 with at least 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST). Mathematics is compulsory for Arts/ Science streams.

NERIM UG Selection Procedure

Selection for admission into the Five-year Integrated BA.LLB (Hons.) Course and 3 Year LL.B (Hons.) course at NERIM Law College under Dibrugarh University shall be based on interview and counselling.
Selection for Admission into a three year full time BSW program shall be made completely on the basis of Merit.
The selection of candidates for admission into the 3 year BCA program shall be done on merit basis as determined by the University.

NERIM PG Admission 2025

NERIM offers PG courses under its Faculties of Arts, Science, Agriculture, Commerce, and Education.To take admission in postgraduate courses, students must have completed a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject from a recognized university. The minimum percentage required may vary depending on the course and category, but students should generally have at least 40%–50% marks in their UG course.

The college conducts its own entrance exam for PG courses. After the entrance test, a merit list is prepared based on the scores. NERIM PG Eligibility Criteria

For M.Sc. (Computer Science), Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Information Technology (B.Sc CS/IT) or Bachelor degree in Computer Application (BCA) or Bachelor degree in Science with Mathematics as one of the subject in 10+2 or in degree level or 4 years Bachelor degree in Engineering / Technology(BE/B.Tech.) or DOEACC 'A' level course after passing Bachelor degree
Any candidate who possesses a Bachelor degree in any stream including medical and technical graduates from Dibrugarh University or any other university recognized by the UGC with at least 45% (40% for SC/ST/OBC) marks is eligible to apply for admission into the Master of Applied Psychology program (2- year full time).
A student with B.Com Degree from Gauhati University or any other university recognized by Gauhati University shall be eligible for M.Com admission, provided such student is
- B.Com in the 10+2+3 pattern with Major Course in the Subject.
- B.Com in the 10+2+3 pattern with at least 40% marks in aggregate in the General Course.
- B.Com with speciality as prescribed by the concerned university.
A candidate to take admission into LL.M. program must have 50% marks in aggregate in LL.B.-3 years/B.A.,B.Sc., B.Com., BA. LLB / BBA.LL.B-5 Year Integrated course recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC) and BCI. However, a relaxation of 5% in the eligibility criteria shall be admissible to the bona-fide SC/ST/OBC/PWD applicants of the State of Assam only.
Any Graduate with 45% from Dibrugarh University or any other University recognized as such by the University (40 percent for SC/ST/OBC) in aggregate, is eligible to apply for admission into the 2 year MSW Program.
Candidates who have passed the Bachelor Degree Course in any stream from the Recognized University with 40% Marks in aggregate (For SC/ST/OBC 35%) , are eligible for Admission into 1 Year full time PGDCA Course.

NERIM PG Selection Criteria

Admission to M.Sc & MCA is done on the basis of NET.
Admission to M.Com 1st Semester shall be made strictly on Merit. Preference will be given to candidates having Major/Honours/Speciality Course in the concerned subject in order of merit.
Selection for admission shall be made on the basis of Dibrugarh University norms and regulations for M.A. Applied Psychology.
The admission to LL.M. Program will be made through an Entrance Test to be conducted by the University/Centre/College. There will be only one paper for 2-hours for LL.M. Entrance Test which will comprise of Indian Constitutional Law,Criminal Law,Environmental Law, International Law, Procedural and Evidence Laws, Family Laws, Law of Torts, Business Law, Intellectual Property Law.
Selection of candidates shall be made on the basis of NERIM Entrance Test (NET) for Social Works.The entrance test shall be both subjective and objective type question comprising topics related to Social issues and general awareness.

I choose this college i.e Bachelor of Business Administration as the college has a good academic reputation in our state, as many students are studying in this college from different parts of the state and most importantly the college is situated in the capital of the state which is very helpful for travelling and communication. The admission process of this college is very easy as the students must have secured a minimum of 55% in the 12th board exams. After getting degree from this institution many students are went for masters degree which will help them to get well jobs opportunities in the future.

I had applied 2-3 college and I got selected in this college. I choose this course i.e department of business administration because the department ensuring a strong theoretical foundations along with the practical experience. The course prepares well for studies as the academic results is always good which will make graduates well equipped for the jobs. Yes, i got rejected in one college and also I got confirmed admission in B.Booruah College, as I heard about the placement of Nerim Group of Institutions which is better than B.Booruah College so I choose this college. The admission process is very simple, the candidates must have secured minimum 50 percent in the 12th exams to get admission in this college.
