I Love GIAL

Likes

The college timing is 9 AM to 3 PM it is very comfortable for all students
Greenery atmosphere campus is make the college peacefull and calm
Friendly and good faculty members in this college make students more comfortable

Dislikes

Canteen facilities and foods not to get an affordable price
Sem exam schedule make uncomfortable the college students
Student need to get permission and gate pass to go outside of the campus during the college time

My college experience

Likes

The ameperance was really fantastic. It was a nature friendly campus.
Faculties were very friendly and the were free to help students in their studies.
In my class we were only 3 girls and 28 boys but overall the count of girls was higher than boys.

Dislikes

There was a cafeteria but at break time a hug rush was there. Only 1-2 staffs were there to serve food.
There was only a limited programs like fest, and there was a collection and for one ticket they charge 100 rupees.
Students need to go and beg for people for selling those coupons.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There was a good course curriculum, although today technology has a wide range of opportunities in world I thought taking BCA would be a best option for my future. So when I searched I find this college and many of my relatives told this college would be a good option for me. This college provide a wide range of placements and the companies like bluesteak, jio and so on provided a wide range of opportunities.

Tale of my career

Likes

The college is situated in an eco-friendly environment.
The faculties were very professional and friendly.
The support from management to students.

Dislikes

Some rules were very ineffective and not good for students.
High paid fees for students and some have difficulties to pay it.
The amount of extra curricular activities for students.

Placement Experience:

In the last semester college offers campus placements. Companies like bluesteak, jio, and malayala Manorama had participated and put forward numerous packages about 15 offers. The highest package was by malayala Manorama with 35000 per month. The average amount was 20000 rupees per month. A proportion of 10% of students got placements. Now I looking for my higher studies.

The HOD of the BCA dept are quite understanding and stands with the students
Some teachers are friendly and understanding

Dislikes

The class teachers won't change after every year
The maths teacher of the BCA is a huge let down. It's suffocating to attend that session
The college canteen is not that great and no UPI

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself has an outdated syllabus like microprocessor which is not even being used since 2000 all irrelevant in 2024. The course needs an update as soon as possible which should include demanding skills which makes students industry ready.

College review for Girideepam Institute of advanced learning

Likes

The college is having national level program called EMPERIO and there are many other programs which are coordinated by the students.
The teachers are nice and friendly amd the college staffs are also very kind and generous
There are lots of trees which sorrounds the campus and the college is situated near kottayam city only 5 km distance

Dislikes

The hostel facilities are average and the food is not very nice
Much more infrastructural developments are required
The college canteen does not accept upi payments only cash payments are accepted

Course Curriculum Overview:

More than 8 different courses are available to be selected in the college. Two internal exams and model exams are conducted in each semester together with some class tests to evaluate the overall performance of the students. The class timings are from 9 am to 3 pm . There are also some additional courses which are offered from the college which are specific for each department or courses.

My experience with Girideepam

Likes

The faculty is pretty good compared to the rest of the colleges.
Environment is good with some good views with a pond and a garden which is taken care of by the college management.

Dislikes

The college is run by a board of Christian Fathers and pastors, so they are pretty backwarded in some issues.

Fees and Financial Aid:

The fre structure is 23,400 per semester, and there are total of 6 semesters. But i think it has increased now, i dont even know why when the same lab is still there and not much improvement with the whole building for BCA

Inadequate career services or job placement support after graduation

The course curriculum is generally relevant and comprehensive. It effectively blends theoretical concepts with practical application. My course enabled me to experience three on the job training sessions which is sure to enhance real-world readiness. We have internal and model exams on regular intervals preparing us for the university exam.

Likes

Good college atmosphere, teachers and staffs are too good.
Friends are like family. Good canteen facilities
Provide cultural programs live sessions etc

Dislikes

More strict ness, unnecessary things will provide
Less availability of seats for several courses
Only few familiar courses are provided by the college.

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd semester onwards students will be eligible for campus placements. Wipro, Infosys, TCS, Info park Etc. these are the companies which are visited in the college. 10 to 15 percentage students will get placements.

I mostly liked the greenery and Annual fest

There is nothing to dislike but rarely due to jammer you will not able to get network inside the class

I choose this course Because of taxation as I like to study tax-related data like GST or Income tax. Faculties are friendly and ready to help as much as they can. Faculties are qualified and most of them are much experienced. The exams here are really easy because teachers teach well.
