B.A. programs: Should have passed 10+2 with relevant language requirements (Tamil for B.A. Tamil programs)
B.Sc. programs: 10+2 with relevant science subjects (Mathematics for B.Sc. Mathematics, Chemistry for B.Sc. Chemistry, etc.)
B.Com./B.B.A.: 10+2 with Commerce and Accountancy (20% seats reserved for Vocational Stream)
M.A. programs: Relevant undergraduate degree in the concerned subject
M.Sc. programs: B.Sc. degree in the respective discipline
M.B.A.: Any UG degree (10+2+3) including B.E./B.Tech. with a minimum of 50% marks.

How to Apply for Bharathidasan University Distance Education?

To apply for any of the UG, PG, Professional or PG Diploma/Diploma/ Certificate courses, the procedure is the same.

You need to fill an application form which can be obtained from all PCP Centers/ Learner Support Centers of the CDE.
Application forms can be found online on their website and can be submitted there only or the same may be printed and sent to the CDE with enclosures.
You need to attach the consolidated statement of attested copy of marks list of degree/ diploma or qualifying degree.
A payment of INR 500 through DD drawn in favor of “Bharathidasan University” payable at Tiruchirappalli or through a challan from the State Bank of India, Bharathidasan University Branch, Tiruchirapalli or online is to be made.

To get into this college, for pursuing higher study in history background, I applied directly by filling the application form that was available on the website. After completing my graduation in BA. history I was sure to study Masters program and hence, I paid 355/- as a registration fee and was finally enrolled here.
