College provides us one year rotational internship which is mandatory for all students to complete. We have signed a bond at the time of admission for this intership that states that a student has to complete their 365 days of internship

As this is a medical field, the thing is what you have learned and how well you can work. As for the dental hand, work should be best. After BDS for good earn, you have to go for a master's as there are fewer job opportunities for bds in India. But if you have good hand work you can open your clinic. In my opinion, it's better to work under some professionals and gain some experience.

The 1 year internship is provided by the college with a stipend. The internship includes diagnosis and treatment of patients. Internship are rotators, and you learn to practice in different departments in that one year. In an internship, you will go on community visits to different places. Faculties will help you throughout and guide you.

BDS itself do not have a lot of job opportunities. You have to go for masters degree if you want to earn more. Or if your practical knowledge is unbeatable you can set up your own clinic. It all depends. The best thing is working under a famous dentist for few years and having work experience which will help you in your own clinicals.
