Vivekananda college, Madurai came into existence in June 1971. It is a men's college situated in Thiruvedagam in Madurai. It was founded by Swami Chidambaram. The college conducts three prayers and some compulsory physical activities like sports and yoga.
The college is affiliated to Madurai Kamraj University and was established by Srimath Swami Chidhbavananda Maharaj in 1963.

You should complete your 12th standard with chemistry as one subject. No entrance exam. Application forms can be get on the college website or you can get the application form directly from the college. The application form will cost 50 rupees. There are no reservation benefits. Admission is based on first come first preference. They want to select a candidate for a suitable course according to their marks.

It's an excellent College with good infrastructure. Hygienic Restrooms and clean environment. friendly faculties and it's a Boys alone College. Placements were awesome and there were 5 to 6 companies every month. the only negative observation is no extracurricular activities and Culturals.

I am from Madurai and applied for admission in this college by offline process. I directly went to the college, took application form gave the application fee of rupees 250 and filled the form and submitted all my details. I attached my 10 + 2 certificate where I scored 70%. To get an admission in this college a student must have at least 50% in 10 + 2 results.

I was a student from Vivekananda College. This is a private college and admission is done on the merit basis. As I belonged from another state apply for online application form but candidates can apply offline as well. To apply in this college a candidate must have scored 50% and about their 10 + 2 results and I had scored 75% 10 + 2 results so it was easy for me to apply in this college. I also take that online application fees through NEFT and candidates who are applying it offline can pay through challan also.
