Sree Narayana Guru College (SNGC), Coimbatore, admissions are merit-based; no entrance exam is required for most programs, though research courses may require university-level eligibility tests (CET/SLET/NET). The college admits students based on their qualifying exam scores. For the UG programs, students need a minimum of 55% marks in the 10+2 qualifying exam, while for the PG programs, the university will assess candidates based on their graduation scores.

SNGC Coimbatore also admits students to the 2nd year of UG programs through the lateral entry scheme to those candidates who hold a diploma in relevant streams. SNGC Coimbatore Application Process

Online applications for UG and PG programs will be available on the official website www.sngasc.ac.in in March 2025.
A single application can be used to apply for multiple eligible courses. Applicants can select their previous programs within the same form.
To log in, candidates must use their mobile number, email ID, and Aadhar number. These details cannot be changed once submitted.
Applicants must fill in their personal, academic, and special category information to complete and save the application.

Admission:

There was not any entrance exam for admission when I join the college. The highlight is there is no capitation or donation. Just the course fee in semester-wise payment. Just visit the college office and fill the application form and submit your 10th and 12th certificates. To do an undergraduate course you must pass 10th and 12th with a minimum of 50% marks. For the BCA course, you should have taken the science/computer science group in12th std.
