PPG College of Nursing was established as a part of the PPG Education and Charitable trust which was established in the year 1992 by Dr L.P. Thangavelu. The colleges offer courses in the field of Nursing.
The courses offered are diploma, Post basic, B.sc and M.sc in the field of Nursing. The college aims at providing education to all the sections of society.

PPG College of Nursing Admissions
The admissions are done by submitting the eligibility criteria to the Tamil Nadu Nursing Council, Tamil Nadu. The admission is provisional and subject to be approved from Dr M.G.R University, Chennai.
The admission is based on the preparation of the merit list based on the qualifying examination.

Candidates should have passed HSC or equivalent examination with an aggregate of 45% in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English (For SC/ST candidates, not less than 40% aggregate is essential), should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the admission year.
