The Course of BAMS consist of 3 professional years each with duration of 18 months. After this there is a compulsory rotatory internship Programme of one year. The avg fee of the 3 years is about 17700 per annum. There is no fee hike. So the study cost for 3 professional years and hostel fee may be around 4 lakh totally which is affordable for most Students. There are no additional expenses except the cost of book materials that are to be paid each proff and the PTA fund and Union Fund that are to be paid only at the time of admission. There are several Scholorship Programms for the Other Backward Class (OBC)Students and OEC Students. There is fee Deduction and Other alavance for the students from SC and ST Communities. The students are given Stipend during the one year compulsory rotatory internship.About 23000 is given per month for the House Surgeons.There are several other Financial Assistance Given to the students. Such Notices are anounced to students from the Management to them.
Scholarships are provided to eligible students based on University merit, National Loan Scholarship, educational concession under KPCR, SC/ST, OEC, etc. Students will even get stipend during the internship period.
The college gives stipends, medals and prizes to the deserving students under various categories. It gives scholarship to students who qualify for it depending upon their financial status so that they can pursue this course.
No I have no scholarship. But one of my friends got scholarships. College will not provide any loan facility because it's a government college. Poor students get fee concession from the college. Students get good scholarship from other organisations
There is different kind scholarship provided by kerala goverment, central government, or any other NGO. Kerala goverment provide E-grant scholarship which give amount equal tobannual fee. Central goverment provide MCM Scholarship.
For university toppers there is scholarship from university for ex-servicemen sons ans daughters there is another scholarship, scholarships for obc and sc st students are in adition to this.
