Directorate of Distance Education of Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology is located in the Hisar District of Haryana and was established on October 20, 1995 by an Act of the Legislature of the State of Haryana.
Now the DDE is extended to undergraduate programs of BBA, BBA (Lateral entry), and B.A. (Mass Communication), post-graduation in M.Sc. (Mathematics and Computer Science), M.A. (Mass Communication), and PG Diploma courses are also offered by Directorate of Distance Education, GJUST.

- Candidates applying in B.A., BBA, B.Com. must have passed the 10+2 examination or 3-year Diploma from a recognized board.

- Admission to PG Diploma is based on bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized board.

GJU Distance Education B.A., B.Com., BBA, BBA (lateral entry) Admission 2023
Directorate of Distance Education offers bachelor’s education in 3-year B.A. in Mass Communication and BBA. Minimum eligibility to apply for the course is having passed 10+2 examination from CBSE or equivalent recognized board.
GJUST also offers 2-year BBA lateral entry admission under Distance Education Scheme based on completion of three-year diploma in Business Management. Selection of candidates for B.A., BBA and BBA (Lateral Entry) courses offered by the college is merit based and the admission process is organized online.

GJU Distance Education M.Sc., and M.A. Admission 2023
Admission to post-graduation two-year full-time courses in M.Sc. (Mathematics & Computer Science), M.A. (Mass Communication) are offered under distance education by the GJUS&T based on the fulfillment of eligibility condition. The minimum qualification to apply for PG courses is having passed Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized board.
University also offers late entry to M.A. and M.Sc. Computer Science upon meeting the eligibility conditions. Admission to all these courses will be based on merit in the previous qualifying examinations. Candidates may apply for the courses through official website.

GJUST under Distance Education scheme offers one-year PG Diploma in seven major specializations. Minimum eligibility to apply for PG Diploma is having passed bachelor’s course from a recognized board. Final selection of the candidate will be based on obtained in qualifying exam.

GJU Distance Education Application Process 2023
Students applying for any of the under-graduate or post-graduation course must visit the official website of the college to complete the registration process. There is a common process of application for B.A., BBA., M.A., and M.Sc.
- Visit the official website to fill the registration form.
- Click on ‘Admission’ Tab and then click on new registration for admission.
- Registered candidate need to deposit the fee of INR 1000 (INR 250 for reserved candidates by any of the given modes of payment: Net Banking, Debit Card or through Credit Card.
- Log in to the account and upload the scanned copies of photograph, signature, marksheets, caste certificate, and other certificates.
- Students will have to get their original certificates verified in the Directorate of Distance Education after getting the admission either in person or through post.
- Students are needed to send a self-addressed envelope of size 10” x 12” bearing postage stamps worth INR 45.
