Institute of Open and Distance Education, Barkatullah Vishwavidyalaya was set up under the name of the Department of Correspondence Courses in 1975. The university was accredited ‘B’ grade by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) in 2015. The institution takes pride in its ability to provide a large number of courses at the Graduate and the Post-graduate levels. Although the institution provides courses on a large variety of streams, it is especially well known for its courses on MA and PG Diploma.

For getting admitted to the Barkatullah Vishwavidyalaya Institute of Open and Distance learning follow the instructions given below:

Interested candidates need to fill the application form which is available on the official website of the institution.
Candidates need to register so that they will get a 6 registration number. Each digit represents something like a session, subjects, year, and serial number.
Fill in all the information required in the application form.
Upload the required documents properly.
Candidates can pay the registration fee online through Netbanking.
Send an email of the scanned copy of the registration letter fee receipt, photo & signature and mark sheets to the director of the institute.
