Students must have passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board to pursue UG programs from the university.
Admission to UG courses will be granted based on merit in 10+2.
For PG programs, candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline from a recognized board with an aggregate of at least 45% marks.
Admission to PG and PGD programs will be offered on the basis of Aptitude Test and Viva Voce.
Students seeking admission to M.Phil programs must hold an MPA/ M.Mus/ MVA degree in the concerned subject with an aggregate of at least 55% marks.
Admission to M.Phil course will be granted based on performance in the entrance test conducted by the university and Viva Voce.
For Certificate courses at the UG level, students must have passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board and for Certificate course at the PG level, candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline.
Admission will be granted based on merit in the qualifying examination.

Utkal University of Culture offers Certificate course in 2 disciplines with an intake of 64 seats at the UG and PG level.

Candidates who wish to pursue Certificate course at the UG level must have passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board. For Certificate program at the PG level, students must hold a Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline from a recognized university. Admission will be granted based on merit in the qualifying examination.

Students who wish to pursue any of the courses mentioned above can apply for the same online. Here are the detailed steps to apply:

Visit the official website of ‘Utkal University of Culture, Bhubaneswar’.
Click on ‘Admission’ and then on ‘Online Application for Admission’.
Fill all the details correctly in the application form.
Pay an application fee of INR 300 through Credit/ Debit Card/ Net Banking.
Click on ‘Submit’ button.
Download and take a print out of the same.
Send the duly filled application form with all the required documents to:

The envelope containing the application form and other documents shall be superscribed with “APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION.

Documents required to be attached with the application form:

Self-attested copies of mark sheets and certificates of all the examinations passed i.e. HSC or equivalent, Intermediate/+2, BA/B.Mus./BPA/BVA/BFA and other qualifying examination.
Self-attested copy of the Conduct Certificate from the Head of the Institution last attended.
Caste Certificate (if any)
Self-attested copy of Registration Receipt (for Utkal University of Culture candidates).
Copy of the system generated a receipt or deposited challan indicating payment of INR 300 towards application fee.

Note: Candidates can also deposit the application fee in form of cash at any branch of SBI through Challan generated from the systems.

Utkal University of Culture Reservation Criteria

As per the reservation criteria of the UUC, Bhubaneswar reserves certain seats for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe. Students can check the table given below to know category wise reservation in percentage.

Admission:

The admission process was simple and there is no entrance test for the admission. Minimum pass mark is required in graduation to be eligible for admission. The application form can be found from college office in th month of April.

I’ve scored good merits in my 12th which is about 75% and then I found that we have to undergo through the entrance exam.
