- Government helps us by scholarship with 90 to 95% of fee.
- They are best when it comes to deliver the lectures.
- The hostel facility of our college is one of the best in the city.
Dislikes
- Canteen of the college is not good .only available in winter
- The place is store house of dirty politics,regionalism and criminal activity in my time only 2-3 times bullets were fired, 3-4 people were jailed, police presence here is more constant than some professors in entire year.
- I dislike some time ragging to new student which is taken by college seniors

Course Curriculum Overview:
Teachers try to complete all syllabus but some time they can't. But all the teachers are really very hard working they support students. And they help the students to select the subject independently. And laboratory facilities are also available which help to perform better research.

The course curriculum related to subjects are better. Students are free to select of decide what they want to study. And we well learn about the real world applications related to that subject. Specially in physics and maths.

- Faculty are very much experienced and you will get to learn a lot of things from them. They are best when it comes to deliver the lecture.
- It's location are very accessible for the students and you can get rental room at very low price.
- The used to conduct examination at their own time, unaffected by other university.

- Grounds are not well maintained, making unable to play in rainy season.

I have pursued bachelor in science as i want to do further research on this field.
This will provide problem atmosphere, lab facilities for the proper grooming of your personality and provide effective environment for science bachelors.

- Few teachers are nice and helpful like Sunil Sir in Botany Department,Chaterjee Sir in Zoology(now left the college)
- Retired teachers here occupy the vacan.t position so that they can teach students,if they get health emergency completion of course is students problem. but the anagment is helpful and will often subtitute the teacher with a fresh M.Sc graduate.
- Practicals are held regularly here,(daily 3hrs class) in case of Science stream.
Dislikes
- Only few teachers were helful mostly younger ones rest above 60s were arrogant,uncorperative and undisciplined reluctant to give marks in paper just because in their time person with 75+ used to top the college, so they take student as challengers.
- chemistry faculty here is may be worst of INDIA,although every teacher comes up with chits in hands(okay) but almost 80% of faculty lack knowledge of their subject and often teach you wrong facts&are shamless enough to ridcule you until they check c

Curriculum before NEW EDUCATION POLICY was very hectic an boring but after the implementation of it things have improved a little,atleast you wont face the worst chapters of botany in first years,
also percentage of children has improved after NEP,earlier teachers used to give numbers like they have to donate their body parts and used to settle their frustations of graduations wwith childrens that has reduced a lot after NEP.
