U.G. Mahavidyalaya Angul Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The answer is a big and definite NO!! Campus placements have just become flashing cards for colleges to attract more students. They proudly say on their brochures (500 placed in Infosys,200 placed in TCS. .etc) as though it is a big deal. I think my answer is a bit biased since I studied in THE best engineering college in Karnataka, BMSCE Bangalore, but this can be extrapolated to other students too. For instance, let us take the example of three friends who studied MEchanical Engineering along with me. Let us call them Tom, Dick, and Harry. Tom and Dick were placed through campus placements in TCS in 2010. What happened to them 10 years from now.mechanical engineering so worked in a factory till 2016.
