I was a BA student so there is no placement for BA students in new college.
But they have great placements for BSC, BCA, BCS,, BCom, engineering and diploma students..
After completing my BA in psychology I will take admission for MA psychology.
Job fair is organized by the New collegee every year with help of local municipality. As many as 20 to 25 companies from different background participate in this job fair. All the final ayear students appear for the interview. Percentage of placements of students is quite promising. Institution has it's own placement cell which arrange different skill improving lectures and workshops for the students.
No, as The New College I studied was junior college it only had the facility of standard 11 and standard 12 which includes no placement opportunities or no job opportunities and doesn’t deal with any internships.
First of all, you had better forget the order of life that is familiar to you from school. In college no one will force you to study if you don’t want to. But in case you don’t study, you will just get expelled and will lose a considerable amount of time. But is it what you strived for? I don’t think so. In the beginning the overall situation in college will seem strange for you, but the most important thing here is not to get lost and not to get scared. The initial stage of adaptation is hard whenever you change it significantly; thus, you can consider college to be your first adaptation rehearsal.
I am not sure about the placements & job opportunities from this college. But when I was in last year there is one company from Pune called Infosys, were came there for campus interview. You can get opportunities to the nearest companies as Maharashtra Industrial development corporation is near to the city.
