Taki Government College is a government college located in Taki, North 24 Parganas, West Bengal. It is affiliated to West Bengal State University and was established on September 15, 1950.

Taki Government College UG Admission 2024

Taki Government College offers three-year regular undergraduate courses in the field of Arts and Science in B.A and B.Sc. (Honours and General).

Candidates who have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with 50% aggregate marks or 55% marks in overall subjects or 45% marks in the related subject are eligible to apply for Honours UG courses.

For B.A. and B.Sc. (General) courses, candidate with passing marks can apply for admission. Apply for UG Courses

Admission will be done on the basis of Merit in the qualifying examination.

For admission in Honours course, Marks obtained in top four subjects (each 100 marks) excluding compulsory Environmental Studies Plus marks in the subject a candidate applying for Honours in H.S. or equivalent (10+2) examination shall be considered to ascertain the merit point of a candidate.

For General course, Marks obtained in top four subjects (each 100 marks) excluding compulsory Environmental studies in H.S. or equivalent (10+2) examination shall be considered to ascertain the merit point of a candidate.

My Eyes On TAKI GOVERNMENT COLLEGE

Admission:

I applied at Basirhat College, Barasat Evening College also. Even they confirmed my admission. But I Choose Taki Government College. Because First of all this is a government college. I got sone extra opportunity like low fees and more more extra things like free access of library, laboratory. I didn't get rejection from others college. Because I'm sure I was not that bad, that they could reject me. For getting admission your results must be good in class 12th. And there is a big competition, that's why if you had more marks in previous course you will get chance fast. And sometimes cast certificate mattar. I applied first. Then when I was selected, I filled up admission form and admission fees. Then a certain days, I submit my alla documents in department. That's the process. Exam system are good.

As it is a government college so you had good marks in your 12th only then you can get a admission...I got 90% marks in my 12th. The application process is very easy as everyone knows these days all works are done through online The exams are held as a semester basis ( every after 6 months )

Here the admission process is quite good. But it need to be improved a little. For some reasons I think entrance exam will be a good step for admission process. Admission:

Eligibility of the course is Higher sceondary completion with atleast 60% marks. One can apply from the official website of Taki Government college during the month of May-June. If any improvement is asked then I would say that there should be an entrance test

For this course you just have to pass the higher secondary exam I mean one student has passed out 12th class. Then on a fixed date, the application form will be realised. Then a link from the website, you have to fill up the form and submit it between three or a fixed time. Then after 1 week or some day, a list of names will be realized. If you are selected there also show your name. When I applied for the course I had to pay a total of 1400 as a fee. It's an easy process the only thing you have to do just find a good computer shop to fill up the form.

Taki Government college in my review

Admission:

A student who has passed the Higher secondary exam can apply for the college. The college officials create a WhatsApp group of students ( by collecting their numbers from nearby schools). There they inform about the admission process and many other things related to admission. Also, students can visit the official website of the college all the required details for admission are given there. Like every Government college, there is also seat reservation available for sc, st students. so there is a little more competition for the general cast students. I don't think any improvement is required in the admission process, because the process is too easy.

For admission, you don't need to any examination. Only you must complete your 12th with the Mathematics subject. And you need 2000 rupees for admission. And one copy of the passport-size photo. And one copy of your mark sheet for the 12th.
