The best collage in ranchi

Fees and Financial Aid:

First of all i clear that the fee structure of all the department are different .I can elaborate it for my department of physics as there will be fluctuations for every year like in my first year i paid 28500 rupees. For the second year i paid 30500 after that for the third year i paid 32000 and according to new education policy for the admission in fourth year we have to pay 34500.It includes all fees like tution fee, lab fee ,library fee also and so on.Except general student thay provide scholarship also . My batchmates from other department like bcom,bba they pay more fee then us like 45000per year. Scholarship available for students through ekalayan which we can fill with the help of college bonafied these scholarship are only available for st,sc and obcs students. Thankyou

Student Snaps:

The fee structure of geology department is about 42000 but it was 31000 previous year. All the categories like general OBC SC and ST everyone have to pay the same fee for the course. All the fees like fee library fee electricity fee maintenance we all this fee are included in these 42000.

Classess timing it doesn't have a proper time schedule most of the time one class will be on 8 am then the other class will be from 1 pm so the 4 hrs is wasted because there is no class and also students get irritated and there is major loss of life

Firstly admission fee is taken as 1000 then the yearly fee 2 semester exam fee is taken as 50000 there is no scholarship nor there is any intership or placements going on in the college campus. College ambience is good but the faculty is not that great they are average . College should take care of the placements and intership on campus and also course study should be more oriented towards practical scenarios.

As per vocational course our class room is well detailed

Yearly fees for st category is 65000 .Amount of scholarship is for ST is based upon admission feees. Others fees for general is 75000 and obc is 65000. In three year we will be paying around 2 lakh fees

This is my college st Xavier's College Ranchi

As this college is the best college in ranchi , but charges and fees structure sucks , there are so many unnecessary funds charges included in my fees

There is a yearly fees of rs 57850, and you can only pay fees in yearly basis There are scholarship options for bright students and obc,sc,st basically backward class has this options Ya there is rs 1000 extra off for my sc friend before showing his income certificate

THE XAVIER EXPERIENCE

In statistics course of 2024-28 batch there are only 17 students in 60 seat . Clearly no competition in entrance exam for statistics course

Actually the fees of statistics course vary from caste to caste but it differ from 500 or something.i belong to sc category and I paid 56350 and let me tell you that this course demands the highest fees in this college.if you belong to sc,st and OBC then you will get your 100% scholarship from the ekalyan portal of Jharkhand government

The fee is paid in two installments, 83000 in each. Tution fee- 15000 Registration fee- 300 Admission fee- 500 Development fee- 1500 Lab fee- 18000 Examination fee- 500 Departmental charges- 15200 and many such charges Scholarships are available. ST and SC and OBC students get scholarship. Also General students. NCC cadets get special scholarship.

Overall of St. Xaviers

They are strict about 75% attendance, if not fulfilled then the student won't be allowed to give exam
The fact that the fee is really low is a huge plus.

There is 35k fee per sem and this is including all the miscellaneous fee. As this is a self financed coarse, this number is given. Other govt. aided courses can have fee as low as 8k per sem. For example, the fee for govt aided BA psychology is 9k per sem

The college offers BA in Sociology in Honors mode. You are eligible for admission to the course. The eligibility criteria of the course is to complete 10+2 with at least 50% marks in the aggregate.
