The college's admission process takes place in June and July, offering a variety of degree programs across science, commerce, and arts, with a notable focus on the LLB department. The M.Sc. Physics program, accommodating up to 80 students, is comparatively more expensive than similar programs at other institutions, costing 1.5 lakh for the 2017-2018 period, whereas other colleges charge between 40,000 to 50,000.
Despite the high fees, the college provides limited placement and job opportunities. For practical experience, M.Sc. Physics students can participate in a 2-month internship. To support students financially, the college offers two scholarships: the Kosal Money Scholarship providing 1,000 and the Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhayay Scholarship offering 5,000. Additionally, there are more scholarships available particularly for female students.
