My course and the teaching staff also the college culture in general

Dislikes

Genuinely the hostel is not recommended for the students as there are many flaws in that.

Placement Experience:

The college offers internship and job placement drives for all the students including first and second years and not just the final years and the basic packages are arround 3LPA for the placements, apart from this the college also has many work shops and guest lectures to help the students more in theri further education or etc.

I LIKE THE CAMPUS ,IT IS VERY QIUTE AND GREENERY.
THE FACULTY WAS VERY GOOD AND FRIENDLY .
THE FACILITIES THEY PROVIDE US WAS VERY GOOD TO LEARN

Placement Experience:

FROM LAST SEMISTER THE STUDENTS CAN BECOME ELIGIBLE FOR CAMPUS PLACEMENTS. THE COMPANIES VISITED TO OUR COLLEGE WAS AMAZON ,DELL, FLIPCART,AND MANY OTHER COMPANYS VISITED OUR COLLEGE TO PLACE. THE HIGHEST PACKAGE WAS 400000.

Likes

College has good infrastructure and good environment
Faculty is well experienced and helpful .
Cultural activities sports Library is also available

Dislikes

College bus is not available. Need make improvements in this area
Few courses in pg like MCA is not available.
Canteen is too small. Only one canteen for entire college.

Placement Experience:

In final year the students are eligible for placement and internship. Deloitte,TCS ,HDFC bank , Wipro are few companies that visited the campus and made two to three offers.the highest package is five lakhs per annum and lowest is one lakh fifty thousand per annum (intership). Most of the students get placed.

I think there is no need of anu improvement in the course curriculum.exams will be conducted within 6months

This I liked is very disciplined and punctual and all the faculty were well educated and train the students in a better way conceptually in each subject
In specific subject they will give guidence
they will give placement in various fields tied up with different companies

Dislikes

Hostel facility food i dislike because there were no new dishes everyday routine
No proper wash rooms should keep waiting
We cannot study in rooms because they will switch off lights at night

Placement Experience:

In last semester they will allow us to attend placements . Comspys like Amazon Wipro zenpact Reddylabs and many more these are few. I have no idea about highest packages of a company 50-60,perci of students will get placed. I had a plan of doing my masters after getting my degree

Do you think St. Pious college is good?

Likes

I liked the college ambience a lot in our college
I liked the way faculty teaches us with enthusiasm
And all the co curricular activities which are taken place

Dislikes

I didn't like the timings of our college
I didn't like the canteen food in our college
There are more then 70 members in each class

Placement Experience:

Yes the placements of our college are very good. We have a minimum package of 5 lakhs in our college. The companies will be visiting us in the final year ending like that. They are good overall compared to other colleges

St.Pious and why you should never step foot here

Likes

College ambience. There are beautiful gardens, tall palm trees and a positive ambience in the building. Proper cross ventilation is present in the building.
Basic amenities. There is water and washroom facilities on every floor and is well maintained and hygenic. Classrooms and labs are cleaned on a daily basis as well. Basketball court and volleyball court are well maintained as well.
Fests. Many frequent fests and activities all year round. National and international trips as well takes place every year.

Dislikes

Staff. 90% of the faculty have no idea what they are teaching. Some even confidently teach the wrong concept! During practicals, the lecturers have no idea why and what we are doing half the time! Calculations are a mess as they dont understand it.
Lectures. Never happen. Ms.Sugandhamala mam. The legendary. 3 years and hardly 5 classes she attended and taught. Then she has the audacity to scold us for not getting good marks when she DID NOT TEACH!
Future. Finished. I was motivated to become a scientist. Chemistry Head of Department literally gave a long speech on why you should give up on studies and marry. How to take care of husband and kids, etc. She is a PhD.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wished to study Immunotherapy and medical microbiology in my further higher education and thus chose Biotechnology, Microbiology and Chemistry. Having a mandetory dissertation helped gain overall practical experience. Though, the college lacked any and all facilities. They hide all their instruments in a room for NAAC evaluation only.

In the final semester, students are eligible for campus placement and training is provided in the college itself. Companies like cognizant, tech Mahendra,HGS ,Unisys, Infosys, Genpact, IKS health, Dell, Deloitte, Sutherland, TCS. 90% of students are placed in campus placements.

Placement opportunities are moderate. Our average package was 300000. I guess there might be 6 to 7 companies, I have placed for Cognizant through the placement cell. There might be 50% of students with jobs in hand.

Campus placements were so good. Many top companies participated in internships and we had a lot of opportunities for our further career. Percentage was not much mattered in placements but based on the students talent they recruited many.
