Very good campus, very nice scenery and have have lot of good faculties.

Dislikes

Very small college, and lot of stairs it’s very bad

From s7 onwards students are eligible for campus placements lot of companies come to college of engineering chengannur and they recruit students students performance is also good so many of them get placed

Reality of CEC

Likes

College is located in middle of Chengannur town so everything is easily accessible
Bus stand and railway station are in walking distance from the college
Good classrooms and faculty. Good infrastructure

Dislikes

The campus areas is very small and not very spacious
The playground is very small and unable to play football
Gym and grounds are not maintained and full of stray dogs

Placement Experience:

My college offers good placement opportunities. Average placement is about 3.5lpa. Mainly the company recruiting is TCS. They also offer intership opportunity with stipends. Mainly the placement is for IT companies.

A blgood and bad colleges

Likes

I like the library it consists of a huge collection of books.
I like the garden it have large amount of flowers and plants
The placement and training cell is very good

Dislikes

The curriculum is just a waste syllabus .
It doesn't have proper sports facilities
It doesn't good labs especially chemistry and physics labs

Placement Experience:

The placement cell is working very hard and many people got placements from multi-national companies like Wipro, oracle, Tata elxsi, syntel and Infosys, etc etc. Even though the pass percentage is 30%.

THE COLLEGE ONLY FOR STUDIES .

Likes

well experianced faculties and their service in some of the subjects.
well organised labs and oppertunities for expressing our practical skill along studies.
fully engaged shedule of classes and project works.

Dislikes

infrastructure is conjusted and is to be improved.
no venue for other extracarricular activities like arts etc.
college lie is too boring and nothing exatra is available in campus other than studying.

Placement Experience:

The placement begin to start from 3 rd year onwards from differant companies including tcs , vipro, tata ,jio, etc. the no of students who are studiying from cs branch are placed more than other branches . but recently 2 or 3 years electronics and electrical students are also in the list of placements. the placed students share their initial package starrs around 20000 rs and increasing. my plans after graduation is to secure a govt job.

The memories about CEC

Likes

The faculties in the college are perfect aand they are making interesting inthat subject
Many number of students are placed every year with high salary packages
They provide various gidd scholarships for students with good mark.

Dislikes

The college infrastructure are very limited
The college spacial arrangement is very poor for athletics students
For some specific branches, the placements are very high

Course Curriculum Overview:

The college was very excellent in academics,and also it has various events for students to participate. They teach students always in a professional manner. It also provides training for better performance in placement recruitment.

About CEC

Likes

Campus life at college of engineering chengannur is good. We feel so protective in the environment. But there are dogs every where that is a problem. Other wise campus life is beautiful.
People in the college are so kind and caring. I like the everyone in the college. Seniors are friendly. They dont treat us badly in any way.
Faculty is also good. Teaching staffs are also very friendly. We can approch them if we find anything hard.

Dislikes

Toilet are very bad here. Doors are not well functioning. And not so clean
Dogs are very were in the college. They are just wandering around the college. Eventhough it dont do anything it is difficult for some people
Academics are so good. But the problem is they only focus on it. There is no other fun programs provided by college.

Placement Experience:

From third year students become eligible for campus placements. The companies that visited college of engineering chengannur are IBM , UST, TCS, INFOSYS, COGNIZANT, IPA PRIVATE LIMITED etc. Highest package is nine lakhs. And average package is about five lakhs and more. So many students are getting placed in different companies. There are many students placed at above mentioned companies. And i would also like to be placed in these companies.

College of engineering chengannur

Likes

The faculty is really good . Most of them have phd and good industrial experience. The lab technician are also good. They clear all your doubts and make sure you are capable of doing your own projects. The library is also really nice has many books.
The college takes high interest in making sure that we learn what is more than in textbooks.There were special class for entrepreneurship to make students intrested in buisness and start ups.
There are many student run clubs for sports, arts .

Dislikes

The bathroom facilities is not that good, it could be improved.
There is no ground to conduct sports, even though there are many courts for basketball, badminton etc.
There are many dogs inside the campus . It might be an inconvenience for some students.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement from 5th semester onwards. This year many students got placement in good really good companies. Top companies such as Bosch, tata ,idea, ibm, Verizon,wipro, infosys , cognizant,cisco, huawei have all come for placement. This year some students got in to ibm with a package of nine lakh. Which is this year's highest package. The average package is also not so bad ,it is also around five lakh. Most of the seniors I know have already got placements.

College of engineering Chengannur

Likes

There will no ragging in this college.Seniors are very friendly and you can keep a healthy relationship with them.
Teachers are very friendly and they are very professional in their career.
Forms will conduct many technical workshops.

Dislikes

Some faculties are not at all good in teaching
If you wanna enjoy your college life,this college will not suit for you.
Many street dogs are there. Sometimes it is disgusting.

From 3rd year onwards, placement starts in my college.This year many students get placed in the companies like Infosys,IBM etc.Many offers are there and many seniors are getting placed with a decent package.Last year there were 175 offers.9LPA was the highest package of last year.I didn't decided my future plans.Now, I want a stable job after my btech.After that there are many options such entrance exams like SSB,UPSC or if you are interested in entrepreneurship,you can start a company.

Review of the college of engineering Chengannur .

Likes

College faculty: The college has good faculty .the faculty Members help the students in their academic journey.
The teaching is good. The teachers are all well trained and qualified.
The canteen provide quality food at affordable price.

Dislikes

The college bathroom facilities is not that much good. Toilet cleanliness is not maintained properly.
Hostels are little bit far away. Students staying in hostel need to Walk a little distance.
Academics is only focused. Sports and other extra curricular activities is not much encouraged.

Placement Experience:

The placements are quite good in our college. Any average student who has no back papers can easily get placed. Every year good number of companies visit our college and recruit students. Students are eligible for placements from 3 rd year onwards.

Likes

some teachers are great ,they teaches well
some of the seniors are also friendly towards us
rading in the campus is strictly prohibited

Dislikes

some teachers doesnt teaches they just ran through the syllabus
also some teachers doesnt give internals
there is no good events and support from some teachers

Placement Experience:

placements are descent.First of all placements are not given they are achieved with skill and knowledge we cant complain college only for it, companies are visiting but only some are being placed because of lack of skill
