Our department teachers are good. They're very helpful. They have deep knowledge about the subject and help us even outside of our college course. Especially our HOD, she's very qualified and makes our topics very clear to us.
The teachers from our department are very cooperative. They make the subject easy for us to understand. They help us with all of our projects like documentaries, radio show recording, web designing and etc.
The best part about our department is our teachers are very friendly. They create an environment where we can communicate with them freely. If we ask them for help in our career they give us valuable advice. They guide us in the right direction.

Dislikes

The infrastructure of our college is not good. The college authority is not supportive at all. Very poor service at the office. They do not behave well with the students, don't co-operate with any issues. No scholarship was given even tho we applied.
Got no news on scholarship even after many months. They do not provide any extra curricular activities or any kind of internship or job opportunities. They don't provide us fecilities like camera, good software for learning. They is no fest or events
There is no canteen, no good equipped lab, no placement opportunities. There is no inter college event or competition. No excursion, nothing is exciting about this college. Even though our department and teachers are really good out authority is not.

Course Curriculum Overview:

1. I opted for this course because I thought it would have a good practical work, with good exposure and experience. But this course has nothing as such. The documentary we did was done all by ourselves. College did not help at all. There was a photo journalsm option in one paper but our college did not let us study that. They did not teach anything about photography, no practical training was given. 2. None. The curriculum doesn't prepare us for the real world at all. There is no professional study or activities. No preparation for interviews or real world jobs. Only theoretical and advices from our faculty. College doesn't provide any activity that can help us for the real world job. 3. More and more practical work with the help of college. More exposure needed. High quality software and equipments are needed. Students need a GOOD professional lab. More exciting activities for students. Placement opportunities, internships etc. 4. BAD. Per sem arrives in 2.5 months, too short time

We do not have a proper placement cell in our college but the college is trying to cope with this shortcoming by providing us with seminars and counselling opportunities to prepare us for our career. The alumni networking is also good of our college
