Translation Health Services and Technology Institute (THSTI) is one of the leading scientific institutions in India. The THSTI – JNU Ph.D program is designed for biomedical and clinical research for candidates with medical, life science including biomedical, health, pharmaceutical, nutritional science, public health, nursing, veterinary science, engineering or mathematics background.

The Institute announces admission to Ph.D courses in Biomedical Research and Clinical Research every year in June.

Admissions are based on entrance like UGC-NET/JRF/CSIR for Biomedical Research or Group A.
While for Clinical Research or Group B admissions students who qualify for GPAT or GATE or other national level assistantship exams are eligible for enrolment.
Students are also required to score minimum marks to qualify for admission to one of these courses.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates should have a Master’s degree in any branch of biomedical / life science including veterinary science, public health, pharmaceutical sciences, bioinformatics, chemistry, computer science or mathematics from any recognized University or Institute with a minimum of 55 % marks
Candidates with B.Tech in Biotechnology from a recognized university with at least 55 % marks are also eligible to apply for Group A.
Maximum age limit is 28 years. Upper age limit may be relaxed up to 5 years for reserved category students.

Candidates must have qualified in the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) examination of CSIR, UGC, ICMR, DBT or NBHM which provides them fellowship for their Ph.D Program.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates should have passed MBBS / MDS / MPH from any recognized University or Institute with a minimum of 55 % marks
Candidates with BE or B.Tech in computer science / biotechnology / biomedical engineering / mechanical / electronics / electrical engineering or B.Pharm or Post Graduate in any discipline of life science, pharmacy, medical chemistry, chemistry, physics, mathematics or bioinformatics from any recognized university or Institute with a minimum of 55 % marks with a valid GPAT / GATE qualification.

How to Apply for THSTI?

Candidates have to visit the official website of the Institute and register themselves for online application.
With their login ID and Password, candidates can fill in the online application form.
Candidates should upload the scanned copies of the required documents
Candidates can make payment through debit card / credit card / Net banking / UPI / PAYTM.
After payment, candidates can submit the form.
Post verification of the documents, admit cards will be published which can be downloaded from the official website of the college.
Candidates should bring the admit card during the time of entrance examination.
Selected candidates will be notified and should proceed with further procedure.
Application form should be filled and submitted before the last day of submission which is May 20.
Shortlisted candidates should be appearing for a written examination on 8th June.
Final selection will be based on the applicant’s performance in the written examination
