The reviewer took part in the EMCET and ECET entrance exams, securing ranks of 48k and 60k, respectively, and chose St. Peter's Engineering College for a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE). They previously completed a diploma at Government Polytechnic College, Masabtank. The college has around 150 lecturers across five branches, with faculty generally qualified and experienced, though teaching effectiveness varies. The annual fee includes a tuition fee of Rs 30,000, a government contribution of Rs 30,000, and a JNTU fee of Rs 5,000, totaling approximately Rs 65,000 when including other charges.

The placement rate is claimed to be 60-70%, with declining company visits and about 90-100 students recruited annually, mostly outside the EEE department. Salary packages range from 3.5 to 11 lakhs per annum. The college offers a scholarship of Rs 35,000 for students with an annual income below Rs 1 lakh, alongside government scholarships.
