My days in Shri Guru Nanak Girls Degree College

Likes

Teachers and staffs are great they always ready to help you in any situation.
My college is a girls college so boys are not in there.
All teachers are great in their teaching method and they will also help you in your life problems and college are great but their principle are very kind person and they will always guide you in everything.

Dislikes

Canteen food they give us junk food and we want something healthy.
In any function just like freshers or farewell water facility are not available.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Everything was a great they provide us so much curriculum activities and they will also give us so many others training for prepare us for the real world they teach us how work will perform in the world and what difficulties we have to faced.

Likes

First of all I'd love to say that the faculty members are very much cooperative and supportive
Teachers teach well and always understands students problem
College environment is so peaceful there is a lot of greenery

Dislikes

Firstly I will say that please renovate the hall so that all the functions can organise well
Canteen food is not so good and it's too costly
Sometimes we don't get cold drinking water from the water cooler

I have completed my BBA this year(2025) and I can say that it's totally worth it teaching method is also very good sometimes teaching will be done on online mode according to students preferences. Overall it's worth it...

My experience

Likes

Teachers are interactive with every student. They never made feel any student that they are low .
The faculty of our college provides us internship for experience as well as they gives us the opportunity to interact with other people's by industrial visits
They provided us each and every thing which a student need

Dislikes

Some of the teachers doesn't interact with the students
And As per my experience they should also take interactive classes for students, so that they can open with the teachers and can discuss their problems regarding their career

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester students are eligible for campus placement. Mahindra, frankfinn, kotak , Barclays, Godrej and many more ... 30-40k 20% Aviation industry as I want to become a cabin crew interview future

The teachers there are really good at everything.
When I first came here, I used to feel very insecure but now it is not so.

There isn't a particular class. we have to sit in the hall

BA education is very good. The teachers are very supportive. Teachers also help a lot in practicals. All things are taught through practical instruments. Classes are proper . A lot of things related to what we are taught are asked in the exam.

College experience that makes me smile

Likes

Learning experience is excellent as the college atmosphere is peaceful
Teachers are very helpful and considerate for all students
College provides all the basic facilities like library, canteen, study room

Dislikes

Little bit expensive as the add on money has to pay
No proper timing have long intervals between the classes

A college which gives wings to young fairies

Likes

The teachers are very supportive and helpful. They always help students not only in studies but also solving personal problems
Students are very motivated and always ready to participate in all programs of college
Each and every topic is clearly explained in class

Dislikes

During summer it becomes very difficult for students due to lack of ventilation

3rd year students become eligible for the campus placement. Many companies have visited on our college during annual job fair which is organised by college for the students of their own college as well as for the students. students of other colleges can also participate in our job fair. Companies like Yokohama , frankfin , HCL, decathlon, Tata etc 70% of our college girls havebeen place in good companies with high pain job and job security. After completing my graduation I am planning to pursue MBA

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum that influenced your decision to choose this course. the curriculum prepare you for real world applications. There are 2 unit test before a final semester exam. So we totally have 3 exams per semester but the gap between them is normally 25 days with multiple assignment which sometimes make it really hectic. The exams are held in 2 session the first session is from 9 to 11 and the second session is from 1 to 3. The difficulty of exams is easy to moderate.

My opinion

Likes

I like the whole college with a discipline and well manners students and the rule and regulation which I followed
I like my college because I learn how to cope up with the microwave and stage phobia and I learn there how to speak how to confess our feeling

Dislikes

I don't like I have that thing that I didn't like in my college I love my college I love my teachers I love my principal I like my college and everything
I am doing great in my college and I prefer everyone to join this college and take their graduation degree from there

Likes

Improvement in this college take place year to year as per the needs of the students. In this college many interactions with professionals are also facilitate.
My college life is so good I enjoyed it and also do many social interactions while my college life like the trainers
Teaching quality and mentorship quality is so good. Teachers in this college are very cooperative and help students

Dislikes

Nothing, in my point of view everything is fine and good and disciplined.

After 4th semester the students are eligible for campus placements. Many companies are visited in our college for job offers like frankfin, hcl, tcs, Barclays, hdfc, and many more. The company offers job by considering the students as a freshers thus it offers very average package for students but if the performance of students Is good in that company, then it may chance that they hire for higher post with high package. But at starting they offer atleast 2,50,000/- to 3,00,000 per annum.
