Sanatan Dharam College was established in 1951. The college is located in Ambala. The foundation stone was laid by Dr. Rajender Prasad. Since then the college has witnessed the passage of great men and women through its portals. The NAAC has awarded ‘A-Grade’ with a CGPA of 3.48 in 2011 and also it has awarded ‘A+’ with a CGPA of 3.51 in 2017. The college has bagged the prestigious DDU Kaushal Kendra grant to run Skill-oriented courses for making students industry-efficient. The average salary package is INR 5-7 lakhs.

We can opt for both hindi and english medium
Campus is very friendly to nature and there is so much cleaniness and No outsiders are allowed to enter the campus

Admission:

I applied only for this college and by the charm of my luck i got the admission in the open counselling. The admissions process is very good as it held in 4 session which are as follows:- 1st Merit list, 2nd merit list ,3rd merit list and at last the open counselling session in which the students who didn't got their names in three of the lists can get admissions. I chosen this college because it is no.1 college in the terms of academics and provide better opportunities to the students to enhance their future by working hard.

I didn't apply to other because my home is near to this college I applied in this college and I got admission Others college take more fees but there courses are not so much good For admission in June or July you have to visit College or have to visit website for the registration The admission will be based on your merit not on exam

Campus is a bit small and food is not good
More places to sit should be made. Less place for sitting

I didn't got a good cuet score so i got pgdav college in du. So as i dont live in Delhi and going Delhi for this college was not worth it as it is a below average college. So i took admission here in chd as it is the top college of chd, the adm process is on class 12th marks.

Crowd is good than most of the colleges in chandigarh
IT department is good almost 8-9 labs and 3 classrooms are there and in it u have courses like bca, bsc it, ba it and bvoc hardware and msc it also
Library and reading area are there, library is for those who have to read any book from there languages

Dislikes

Some people fight during elections, so college need to make some rules for them

Admission:

I chose this college above other colleges because first of all it is a semi-government college with high ranking ,it does not have environment of a college and fees are also affordable. And if you have taken maths and computer science or it in your 12th standard u will get more benefit as your merit will increase because of these subjects. For admission to this college, you need to fill out the form of dhe and when u get this college u need to fill the college form and u can also visit college to get direct admission.

Likes

Library has good books on various subjects and issues so we can learn from that also.
The college has greenery everywhere which is good for atmosphere and the surroundings are beautiful and good for studying.
Infrastructure is well developed with equipped buildins

Dislikes

Sports infrastructure and facilities are not so good.
Less study space for students as the campus is small.

Admission:

You can be given admission on basis of 12 th percentage or you can also give quiz and interview for the course which i opted. I didn't have any reservation. I got more than 80 percent in boards so i was given direct admission in the college.

At last, There are various co curriculum activities and further helps to build confidence in the students.

Dislikes

This college doesn't have much fest as like the other colleges.
The classes are such in a bad condition and even not cleaned properly.

The eligibility of the course was the 12th pass from any board. The application forms for college were available on the campus itself and also on online mode. The admission process was not very difficult. After filling out the application form, it is easier to get admission to the college.

I wish i could store my college memories in my room

Our admission process is all on the website we don't have to go college for addmission we have to fill and upload our documents on our university website and it gets approve within 10-15 days after our seat reserved we get an acknowledgment which we have to take to college and pay the fees after that we can attempt our classes

Aspirants seeking admission to 3 year Full-time BA (Hons.) Program should have passed 10+2 with 35% marks in aggregate and English as one of the subjects. The fee for the BA is not available online, you can visit the college for the detailed information about the course.
