Shrimati Saraswatibai Girls College commonly known as S.S. Girls College is one of the oldest and premier college for girls located in Gondia district, Maharashtra. It started in 1970 as S.S. Mahila Mahavidhyalaya by the contribution from its founder Mr. Manoharbhai Patel. It is a government-funded institute and is associated with Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University. It offers UG courses in Arts, Home Science and Fashion Design and PG courses in Home Economics and Geography. Short term IT course is offered too. The college is built in the heart of the beautiful rice city and has a commodious building. Teaching and personality development activities go side by side in this college.
