The B.Sc. (Industrial Chemistry) at Rajdhani College, University of Delhi, is a 3-year full-time undergraduate programme that combines core chemistry with industrial applications, including chemical process technology, polymer chemistry, environmental chemistry, and quality control. The programme is affiliated with the University of Delhi and follows the UGCF (Undergraduate Curriculum Framework) with a semester-based system. The total course fee is Rs. 50,300 for the 3-year duration. Admission is through CUET (UG) scores via the DU CSAS portal, with a seat intake of 39 seats across categories. The course is popular among students seeking a career-oriented chemistry programme with direct industry relevance in chemical manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, and quality assurance.

Admissions for the academic year 2026-27 are upcoming. CUET UG 2026 registration has closed (January 3 - February 26, 2026), and the exam is scheduled from May 11 to May 31, 2026. DU CSAS portal for 2026-27 admissions is expected to open in the third week of June 2026, after CUET UG results are declared (tentatively July 4, 2026). Students should register on the CSAS portal and fill their college and programme preferences once it opens.

Key Points

  • The programme bridges the gap between academic chemistry and industrial applications, covering Chemical Process Technology, Polymer Chemistry, Environmental Chemistry, and Quality Control.
  • The curriculum follows the University of Delhi's UGCF framework with a semester-based system, offering both theory and practical laboratory components.
  • With only 39 seats, the programme is relatively small, ensuring more focused attention and better faculty-student interaction.
  • Graduates are directly employable in chemical industries, pharmaceutical companies, quality control labs, and environmental agencies.
  • The programme is distinct from B.Sc. (Hons.) Chemistry in its applied and industry-oriented focus, making it suitable for students who prefer practical over purely academic chemistry.
