The Best Government College for B.Sc. (Honours) Biotechnology in West Bengal

Placement Experience:

There are a little placement campusing happened from TCS and others companies. They should give more interest in campusing from more different government and private companies. The passed out and final year students are eligible for the campus placements. Tata Consultancy Services, etc visited and 40 offers made. Highest package 45000 per month. 40% students who are eligible got placement. I want to do further higher studies after getting the degree.

Availability of good faculty & good environment in our college premises

After completing second-year students are bocome eligible for getting a job during campusing.Top recruiting company like TCS, WIPRO,HCL visited here.Among all the students nearly 40% of the students getting job in these company. Highest package was given by them nearly around 6 lakh per annum.Average salary was 3 lakh per annum given to the students who are getting job during campusing.After completing my graduation degree my plan is to get admission in M.sc in any recognized instituion.

My College Review

When I passed out in the year 2002, the college had No facility or provision for any Campus Placement or any other Placement Assistance. Hence the students including me that time were neither given any placement interview training, career counselling or preparation for future job search.

As I am in 2nd year I had not done any internship. The college also suggests taking an internship in the final year. Anyone can practice under a nearby laboratory for further betterment in doing practicals because it is more often a practical-based subject.

Best Government College for Biotechnology students

Organizations like Amazon, Amul, Mother Dairy, Mankind, Cipla, Wipro, TCS, visited and around 7 to 8 lakh rupees bundle they are giving. The highest Placement is 1 crore and the normal bundle is 8 to 9 lakh rupees About 65% of understudies getting placed. I need to manage work in Biocon a medicine organization.
