What is the mode of Application in Aurora College?

The college follows both online and offline modes of application. For online application, candidates can download the application form from the official website of college. For offline application, candidates can get the application form from the college office.

Does the college conduct any entrance examination?

No, the college doesnt conduct any entrance examination. Admission to any of the courses is based on merit. However, selected students have to appear for an interview round conducted by college and final admission is done on the basis of performance in interview round.

Does the college have a good placement record?

Yes, the college maintains an excellent placement record. It has a separate placement cell managed by faculties and a group of students.Some of the top recruiting companies that visit the campus are Wipro, TCS, Amazon, IBM, Deloitte etc.

Is there activities for students other than studies?

Yes, the college has various clubs for students activities like NCC and NSS club, quiz club and business quiz club.

Placement Experience:

From the Fifth semester students are eligible for campus placements and from then onwards only they provide CBT classes for students to improve their skills to be placed on the companies. Many gaint companies like Deloitte, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Sutherland etc.. around 60+ companies visits here every year and almost every student who applied gets placement here in this campus placements. Highest package is about 6 lakhs and the least is about 2.5 lakhs. On an average one can get 4 LPA package.

After completion of 2nd year in the third year, they provide placements. Nearly 25-30 companies will select our students for campus placement. The average package is up to 4-5lpa we get in placements. Nearly passed out students who are with zero backlogs up to 30-40% will place in placements.

In the final year, 1st-semester students are eligible for campus placements. The companies visited are Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Tollplus, Prolifics, Google, HDFC Bank, etc. The Highest package offered is Rs.5,00,000 per anum and the Average is Rs.2,00,000 per anum. 30-50% of the students are getting placement. My plan after getting the degree is to do a job for a year and then continue with my further studies.

There are many companies which comes for on campus placements like google, IBM, TCS, WIPRO, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant etc. The highest salary package was 6L P.A. form B.Sc Electronics offered by TCS. The minimum percentage of students placed in a company is about 25%. The lectures guide you very well during the interview process and carrier. If you are not placed in any company then they will help you out what to do next in order to have good carrier.
