One very good thing about this college is it's low tution fees which remains consistent throughout the years.I was able to complete my education in about 60-70k rupees which is nothing compared to the cost of modern education.Goverment assisted Vivekanda Scholarship is there as well.
The fees are very less and we can complete our whole education in around 50-60k for the entire course. Also it rarely get increased so it's very convenient for anyone to study in this college. There are also many scholarships available.
Since this college comes under University of Calcutta which is govt affiliated, so you can get all the central and state govt program and scholarship benefit here if qualified. The cost of education for 3 years graduation (semester system) varies between 15000-24000 rupees depending on STEM subjects or non STEM subjects, which is quite low compared to other universities offering bachelor's degree. Although you have to buy all the study materials seperately. The campus employment I would rate as below average as this college offers no campus employment and in rare case it offers internship opportunities that too if a faculty is proactively takes steps to arrange campus internship drive. The alumni association although big and renowned in helping students in their study don't really do anything in terms of campus employment drive.
Tuition fees are not includes because our college take fees in every 6 months. This includes every cost of our education and other activities. There is no such big hikes.
Narasinha dutt college is a college where we get a degrees. There is no campus employment or any job offers.
The fee structure is very less if not negligible for a general middle class student and the reservation system is also there so if anyone wants to study here the course fees will never be an issue. As a scholarship the vivekananda scholarship is available which comes directly from the state government so it's very helpful as well.
My college was government college. So its fees structure was very low ,it was around 5000. I was eligible for svmcm scholarship but I did not get it because when I knew about this scholarship, the date is over. No one company came to our campus for job. So i did not get any job from campus.
our collage fees ranges to 10 thousand per year in which semister fees range to 2500.
swami vivekanada scholarship is being offerd by our collage every year collage itself provides us solchollarship whith a better rank in class 10 and 12
The total fees of the college were around Rs. 6000 (approx) yearly including the monthly fees. But now the fees may affect because of the semesters. The fees are according to the course you choose. But I think Rs. 7000 (approx) is enough. You can pay the monthly fees monthly or at the last month according to your choice.
You can apply scholarship for yourself according to your percentage. I got a scholarship of Rs 18000 in the first year of my college. You can also apply for a government scholarship too.
Since it is not a medical or engineering college, it doesn't organize campus but sometimes I have attended some events in which career and jobs education were given. You have to apply for yourself for the job.
During my tenure the fees were quite decent, I didn't notice any hike in fees.
The cost I paid for 3 years was 5540Rs.
The scholarship is for the students who get 55% marks in master degree in commerce and 50% in graduation.
The cost of studying there is quite affordable. There is a book bank available for the students who could not afford books. I did not get any scholarship but students who can score really well definitely get it.
