- The Department of Philosophy at Muralidhar Girl's College has released the list of selected candidates in order of merit based on interview marks and the allotted admission to Ph.D. Programme 2024. Click here to check.
- Calcutta University Online PG Registration Process has started. Students admitted to the PG courses must upload the relevant documents from Nov 6 to Dec 31, 2024. Further, Migrating Students must submit a hardcopy of the Students’ Registration Form at the Registrar’s Office from Nov 11 along with other required documents.
- The last date to apply for M.Music Courses 2024-2025 is Nov 11, 2024. The entrance test is scheduled for Nov 14, 2024. To check the complete schedule, click here.
- Applications are invited for admission to LLM/MSc/MA in Human Rights (Self-Financing Course). Aspirants can submit the online application forms through the university’s website (caluniv.ac.in) from Oct 25 to Nov 8, 2024. Entrance Test for the course is scheduled on Dec 1, 2024.

- Our college provides us with a advanced way of teaching with the best teachers out there
- Our college also stresses about the co curricular activities as well
Dislikes
- The college doesn't have their own field.
- Lifts are only meant for the teachers we can use only if there's any emergency
Fees and Financial Aid:
We paid last semester that was semester 2, 2800 and this semester that is the third sem we paid 5250 rupees. This feeling structure includes our media lab as we have journalism and mass communication as our minor subject and I feel it's quite worth it.
Likes
- College is quiet strict what I personally liked.
- The faculty teachers are very good. Specially i was in English department the teachers are very helpful
Dislikes
- Office staff behavior I dont like. And also sometimes they treated us very rudely
Fees and Financial Aid:
The fees structure is semester wise. There are different fees amount for different courses like for BA is different and Bsc is different. For practical subjects, the fees are also different. During my time , the fees was 2200 approx per semester and its 5000 approx in a year. There is scholarship available provided by the college so that you will get discounts on tuition fees. There is lab fees also practical subjects.

- Lab facility are good and teacher behavior also good

- College washroom are not clean and its very bad condition
- College staffs behavior not helpful they are very rude

Tution fee increase under sem increases but its not helpful to uss the complete cost of your education including service fess and other compulsory charges was above 1lakh swami vivekananda scholarship amounts 12000are available for students

- Faculty is very qualified and has their experience in the job , its always a good learning experience with them.
- The Media Lab is fully air conditioned and has good wifi system.
Dislikes
- Few computers in the lab donot work properly.
Fees and Financial Aid:
There are lot of scholarships available such as the swami vivekananda scholarship, then kanyashree and many more . The overall fees for a student doing honours would range between 40k-45k (incl. 3yrs) . There's no placement opportunities.

- The faculty is quite good and the professors are very much helpful.
- The social events that take place is very much appreciable.
Dislikes
- The management needs to be improved properly.
- The washrooms needs to be developed more.

The fees is minimal here and affordable for the middle class families. Annually it's within 10 thousand which we need to pay in different semesters. This college provides Kanyasree benefit, SVCM and NSP scholarships as well.

The study of cost is not very expensive but I can assure you that they will get the best education at a low cost. They take fees every 6 months onwards for six times. They provide Kanyashree, Swami Vivekananda's merit scholarship. For the self-development of the students. Our college sometimes provides job seminars.

Science department faculty is good enough, teachers provide classes regular based, if you attend the classes you don't want any private tutor, infrastructure is very good, workshops class provided, free webinar give to the student a technique which is very helpful.

Our course is well defined and consists of variety of subjets with practical learning. We have lot of opportunites after doing this course. Our course includes internship facilities and it will help us in future. Our teaching faculty is also very good. We are being taught about computer designing,web page editing and many more including Film making and editing.

Our course contains english subject as honours paper and the other subjects are optional and they are passing papers. We have good industrial opportunity in teaching fields and in journalism. Our english department is excellent here.

The syllabus pattern followed by Calcutta Unuversity is vast and enables us to study different books of literature and novels. It is easy for me to cope us as I have passed from an english medium school. We get exposure mainly from teaching sectors in schools and colleges.
