Vi Institute of Technology B.E Eligibility

The minimum eligibility criteria is 10 and +2 with minimum 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together from the recognized state board.

The Candidates should have passed the Diploma Examinations in appropriate branches of Engineering of the State Board of Technical Education in Tamilnadu or any other equivalent examinations as approved by Anna University for lateral entry.

Students who’ve done HSC (Class 12th) from other states are also eligible to apply provided they produce a nativity certificate at the time of counselling.

Selection Criteria:

• The admission is based on TNEA conducted by Anna University every year.
• The candidates who have done HSC from Tamil Nadu are eligible to apply for TNEA.

• Register through the link by entering the candidate's name, Email ID and mobile number once you have completed HSC.
• Upon submitting the registration form on the site, an Enrolment ID would be sent to the mobile number.
• Now, candidates can start filling out the application form with the help of an enrolment ID and password, entering personal, academic details.
• The candidates are requested to visit Anna University on the date given on the basis of their marks for counselling.

Documents Required

• Scanned copies of academic details of 10th and 12th mark sheets are required.
• Scanned passport size photograph of the candidate in JPG/JPEG format (size between 10 kb–200 kb) is required.
• Scanned clear signature of the candidate in JPG/JPEG format (size between 4 kb–30 kb) is required.
• Scanned copies of Category certificate, if applicable is required.
• A valid e-mail ID is mandatory.
• Original Community Certificate
• Sports Certificates of achievement, if allotted under Sports Quota.
• Extra-Curricular Certificates, if any.
• Medical Fitness Certificate for hostellers
• Nativity Certificate, if any.
• Conduct Certificate is mandatory.
• Eligibility Certificate is for other State Candidates only.
